How I tried to cope with the loss of a loved one

Published 2023-09-11
This video is more of updates about myself. I did not produce any vlog for months due to my mother's death in May. Until now, I am still healing and so much has been changed in my lifestyle, my routine and most of all, my emotional management. I am trying my best to produce artworks again and it's not an easy journey.

Here's the video of my "Colorless" painting:    • Putting emotions into an oil painting...

You are amazing and a wonderful artist! God Bless you!❤ Mrs. Karnes & Me
  • Thank you Rhema for sharing. This must have been so hard. I know all too well about these "Hidden" seasons we go through. Mine lasted 5 years and I actually pulled all my social media posts from the past. I'm just now rebuilding my channel and like you allowing the Lord to work and carry me through my experiences of hardships and grief and to use them for His glory. I'm happy you're back and able to be used by the Good Lord to bless us with your wonderful gifts and talents. You're an inspiration and encouragement.

😭😭😭😭 i cried with you Rhema 😢 life without parents are so hard. It took me forever to accept that I'm not living with my parents and can't even imagine what you go through daily. Sending lots of prayers. You are brave and such an inspiration. Much love and hugs 🫂 ❤
  • Rehma. Take as long as you need to heal. When I lost my mom, I was devastated and it took me so long to be ok. Life will never be the same but, God has helped me to heal. I will be praying for you. May the Holy Spirit continue to comfort you. ❤

Bless your heart. This comes from a really honest place. And it’s so wonderful to see you sharing your story with others. I think it’s something we can all relate to. This is such a beautiful video for you to do. God bless you and may he be the anchor for us all during grief ❤

thank you so much for sharing this... my mother has been with the Lord for 8 years now and even though it never gets easier and every day I wish I could speak with her, the comfort is knowing she is in Jesus' loving embrace now.
  • I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother!! As it sounds, no one can replace the support system you had with her!❤
  • I'm so sorry for your loss! I pray for your emotional healing! The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. It's always a good thing to have that outlet that you have; creating art is definitely a healthy way to cope. Being out with friends is also a great thing you're doing! Grief is a long process. You never get over a loss, you learn to live with it. In everything though, God is good and with us!
