We’re introducing earlier access to the YouTube Partner Program, with lower eligibility criteria for features that help Creators build deeper connections with their viewers and access monetization earlier. With these lower requirements, creators who are eligible and apply can promote their own products with YouTube Shopping, gain access to fan funding features including Super Thanks, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and Channel Memberships, and get access to YouTube Creator Support.

  • Please bring back the option for viewing the 'Oldest' videos on all You Tube Channels, this is a very much missed and very useful feature, Thumbs up who agrees ?

I'm already in the YPP, but this is a great step forward in making YouTube and more creator-friendly platform. Now PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR ALGORITHM to make it possible for smaller channels to be discovered by more people. This is still one area where TikTok reigns supreme, but YT treats creators a lot better, so, if YT could make their algorithm work as well as TikTok's, YouTube would explode with more growth than ever before. We're waiting!

This is such an awesome change for us smaller channels, thanks YouTube! You contain to be the only video media platform that does the right thing (for the most part) :)

Videos are very helpful for beginners. Thank you so much YouTube Creators ❤

That is great news! Can you also consider this as well: Content creators who are not apart of the partner program should have the ability to limit (turn off) YouTube short remixes on a YouTube short that has been posted. It shouldn’t take having to delete the short completely to then stop someone from using the content in a remix. Why have the permissions changed to remove the ability for ALL content creators to select “no” to remixing? A content creator who is not apart of the YPP shouldn’t have to delete the entire short for any remixes to be removed, especially considering once doing so, it would impact future copyright claims as the original content would have to be permanently deleted to disallow a remix. Please bring back the option for ALL creators to be able to remove/limit remixing on their content!
  • I was too excited that my channel would be monetized but when I found out that it was just to unlock super chat and stuff and not getting paid from youtube i was soo upset and in a deep sorrow I just thought to end my life!
  • @SienaTVlogs29

I'am from Bangladesh... I just started new YouTube channel few days ago. I'm so happy to see this update. However this update isn't available yet in our country. But This is much appreciated... Such a good motivator for smaller channels to keep on going. I hope this update will be available in our country. Thank you very much🙂
  • To all the new youtubers out there! Keep pushing and never give up, you can do it.
  • @PeeMadeFamily
Congratulations to everyone getting monitized soon because of the changes 🎉

As a new content creator, I find it appalling that we are unable to change the thumbnails of our short videos after posting them on the platform. Having to consistently repost content just to get a better-looking cover image is not only frustrating but also causes us to lose progress towards monetization. Additionally, the inconvenience of only being able to choose a thumbnail from the mobile app and not from a PC further compounds the issue. I sincerely hope that the platform addresses this limitation soon and provides a more user-friendly solution to edit thumbnails without having to repost the entire video. Such an enhancement would significantly improve the overall experience for creators and encourage a more seamless process for sharing engaging content. Kind regards,
