Who cares what ESPN says? What people say has zero impact on what happens on the field.
-
Did you tell Plaxico he got away with offensive pass interference when he shoved Hobbs to catch that 3rd down pass in that Super Bowl? 😏

Love Nick's podcast. Day after day, top-level Boston Sports Talk.

Big Nick in Da House!
-
Great podcast as always so glad I have a place to listen to Patriots talks in this slow period after the draft. Thanks
-
Patriots hit all draft picks! Home runs!
-
No. Still a lot of questions to answer especially on offense. Let's watch and see what happens. As you've said Nick, just get better.
-
Nick you do great shows appreciate your work
-
Miss you here in sactown nick...the drive home just ain't the same
-
Great show again, Nick. I'm also hoping Keion White breaks out this year as a beast unleashed.
-
Also, I think you were on to something bringing up Horford's minutes now. It looks like fatigue could be playing a factor with Big Al having to play more due to Porzingis' absence.
-
Well, they did just pick #3 in the draft. So that makes sense. I’m not upset about their opinion. My prediction is 6, 7 wins, but I think there will be optimism for the team going forward.

We both like Polk, but I’ve heard the claim from one of the guys from one of the other shows. That when McMillan returned. Polk was the 3rd option. The funny thing is that I never seen anyone rate McMillan better than Polk.

Greatest Patriot podcast, but I fear they gonna hire Nick soon and we won’t see him often anymore

Greetings from Florida, I haven’t been a fan of ESPN for a long time. I agree that improving is the key,and depending on health, they have a shot of another top 10 defense. Improve the offense as well with line, receivers,,and quarterback play.,we’ll see. Gonna watch the Bruins in enemy territory tonight, should be fun! Hopefully they step up and take it to the Panthers. Great job as always.

Patriot Nation needs to understand that the Patriots are a team that has not drafted well on the offensive side of the ball for several seasons prior to this one. I expected that there will be significant growing pains on offense during the first half to three quarters of this season. Expect improvement, good attitude and another season ending with at a good drafting position. Then hope for a trip to the playoffs in the 25/26 season. Then become a respected contender in 26/27.

Im good with letting Groh walk
-
I’m thinking just go out and get Simmons and Gilmour and let the offense take time to develop .

This schedule is ridiculously tough for a team that only won four games last year. But our defense is going to be really good and our QB and OL play will be MUCH better. Polk doesn't move the needle at WR for the Pats as an Xavier Legette would have. He's another player at the same level as Bourne and Osborn. A potential solid #2. But that's it. He won't get you much separation at the pro level but if the QB can put the ball in his hands, he'll catch it. And Baker is Kayshon Boutte, basically. A receiver with good physical traits who doesn't know where his feet are. They're hoping that, unlike Boutte, they'll be able to coach him up to be a good receiver. We have to understand that because the Pats took Maye at #3, instead of trading down for more picks, they got stuck in a stick and pick draft scenario where they got the dregs at every position AFTER the draft runs took place right in front of them. Polk is the worst of the good receivers, our offensive line picks were the worst of the decent linemen, etc. THIS was the cost of picking Maye and should not be forgotten. Overall, the board did not end up falling well for the Pats. The cost of picking Maye was high so he HAS to be good or this draft will be a bust. Maybe the Pats are counting on picking high again next draft to fix the holes that the Maye draft left them with. One can only hope that that's the plan because THAT would make some sense.

Remember that our special teams were bad last year cost us games we were in. Hopefully we sure it up as well this season which will have a impact on W 's and L's definitely more competitive this year IMO
