The Future of Marvel || Running Up That Hill

Still can't believe this blew up on twitter as well as on here. Here's a little backstory of why I made this edit While watching the stranger things finale the running up that hill mixed with the st theme song played and I started to get chills all over. I knew I had to make an edit using this song. I thought the story of Wanda Maximoff would be perfect so I started. This edit was supposed to be a Wanda x Running up that Hill video. As making the edit a ton of other youtube channels and twitter accounts had the exact same idea (who would've thought lmao). By that time I was already about 70% done with the edit and I knew my video wouldn't be anything special so I had to change this somehow. I really didn't want to start all over which is why over half of the video is still about Wanda lol. As SDCC was approaching I realized that making an edit all about phase 4 was a really good idea so I tried to mash up a mix of some of my favorite fight scenes from phase 4. I then included some clips from She-Hulk and Wakanda Forever trailers since that was what everyone was talking about. I am aware that I got criticism regarding not giving characters like Ms Marvel, Hulk, Monica, Cap Marvel, Bucky, America Chavez, etc any or enough screen time in this edit and that was not my intent and I deeply apologize. I will do my best to include everyone in my future edits. Making this never would I have thought that this video will reach over 900K views on twitter. This will definitely not be my last edit as I try to get better with each video, editing all the characters we enjoy and love!

Phase Four may not be the best, but it’s had some pretty high moments, and I can’t wait for more.

I can't even describe to how this completely capture the essence of marvel, you made me fall in the pit of despair, while simultaneously raising my hope from the ashes. I am so much more hyped for the next phases, BECAUSE OF YOU!

I hope we get an updated version once we have all of phase 4 out. This made me appreciate phase 4 even more.

This video really capture what Marvel is post Endgame. Your video just made me feel happy for whats next in the MCU. I think this is what the MCU tried to show the fans since the beggining of the Phase 4 but they simply couldn't; we don't have the original heroes anymore but the new ones are just as good, and we shouldnt be worried about the future of the MCU! This needs to be the intro of the D23 'cause it really makes us feel hype and emotional for the Phase 4 and the next ones 👌🏽

God, the Wandavision clips hurt, knowing how Marvel did Wanda dirty in Multiverse of Madness. Her story could've been so much more. Fantastically out together video, the editing is impeccable and you timed everything so well. Great job, I had chills the whole time.

Phase Four may have been a hit and miss at many points, but it is the first phase of a new saga. Like Phase One introduced concepts, ideas and characters, Phase Four did the same with more films and the new Disney+ series format. On top of that, it had to resolve some plotpoints from the Infinity Saga. As I said, it wasn't executed flawlessly all the time, but that doesn't mean that you can't be hyped for Phase 5&6 :)

The “see you soon” from Kang might be the best part of this edit, because it makes you think about the shit thats about to go down, and all the current characters don’t even realise it🥲

This edit should be in theaters everywhere.

People aren’t respecting phase 4 enough

I got into Marvel in the summer of 2021, so I'm a relatively new fan. This edit made me tear up, I can't believe I get to witness the future of the mcu. <3

I fully believe this is the spirit of Marvel. It’s going to seem like I’m treating this video as the second coming of christ, but this video made me realize that the MCU is still great, because even though it may seem like tons of people are trying to boycott this franchise, it’s just a vocal minority that got its voice heard, don’t let the opinions of others dictate your own. I have personally never had a single bad experience with marvel ever (except FATWS), it has always left me happy, excited, crying, scared, etc. The MCU is an event, even if the movies have been mediocre, or even bad in rare cases, people still stick around, because we will always have moments where we hit some of the highest highs of the MCU, 14 years in, and we still have had movies and shows that I can put in my top ten of my favorite marvel movies. Marvel still isn’t safe from actual criticism, like its treatment of VFX Artists, which is terrible. But at the end of the day, as long as it doesn’t get worse, I’ll always watch Marvel movies.
