Starting IZ 21251 Kombi After 13 Years + Test Drive

Мне так нравится, когда спущенные, вросшие в землю колеса, накачивают. Машина так поднимается, как будто просыпается от долгой спячки. У неё появляется надежда, что она снова будет мчаться по дороге. Её снова будут любить и всё будет как прежде, как много лет назад))) Хотя, судя по состоянию этой машины, её никогда не любили. На ней живого места нет, в моторе гудрон. Масло не меняли наверно никогда. Ужас 😱

IZ kombi is my mother's first car she drove in, but my mother's car is 1st gen from 1976, better looking in my opinion, we too live in Estonia. My grandma purchased for her in 90s from a big wig I believe. He asked someone to weld stainless steel bottom on this car. My mother actually crashed it a few times. One time she crashed into a fence, one time she broke off rear bumper when she wanted to get out from the garage and one time she crashed into a foreign car. She said there was nothing left from the foreign car and IZ kombi had a few scratches. I remember when we were riding to dacha (country house) with grandma and grandpa in it and I still remember my grandma sitting all important and smoking. This car is still sitting in garage since 2007 and look great, well better than this car in a video at least. Beatiful car from the past, maybe someday we will try and start up with father and drive it. You should also consider doing garage find videos or something like this. I think it will be very popular. Thank you for reviving this classic!

Отличный авто! У моих родителей такой был. Неубиваемый автомобиль, сколько с ним связано. Ездить научился на нём, первая любовь в нём, после окончания техникума, я, мотор, кобку, мосты, полностью сам отремонтировал. Спасибо за воспоминания. Отличное видео! 👍

Greetings, from Spain, incredible that this IZH 21251 state that the engine worked and you were able to drive with it. I would have liked you to show more of the interior, not just the dashboard, the state of the seats, door upholstery, trunk, sometimes you do it in other vehicles. Once again you have shown that these vehicles manufactured in Eastern Europe or in the former Soviet Union, were made in a robust way that allows them to withstand decades and function, of course, in the state that this unit in the video is in, it needs a lot of work to leave it in optimal conditions but it would not be impossible.

Двигатель очень простой и надёжный, он и через 30 лет заведется без особых проблем

The shape made me think of the Austin Maxi. Rear axle has a bit different location. Love the sight glass in the carburetor. Engine still runs ok, needs a bit of finetuning. Thanks for the tour.
