The large fair town will be rebuilt at its picturesque location on the Oberkasseler Rheinwiesen. From 15 to 24 July 2022, more than 300 showmen from Germany and abroad will be presenting a large selection of rides on the 165,000 square meter fairgrounds , guaranteeing fun for the whole family.

The largest fair on the Rhine in Düsseldorf (short: Rheinkirmes) is one of the three largest German folk festivals. The ten-day festival takes place annually in the third week of July on the fairgrounds on the left bank of the Rhine in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel.

The largest fair on the Rhine is celebrated for two reasons:

Feast of the patron saint of Ravenna, St. Apollinaris
Church dedication of the Catholic Basilica of St. Lambertus in Düsseldorf's old town
