CX needs to constantly improve their service as competition from SQ, JL, NH is very strong. They cannot rest on their laurels.

New to your channel (and greetings from down under, Australia).... A great flight review, CX has definitely improved their service levels, shame about breakfast. If you want to experience what I believe in the best premium economy offering, try flying Air New Zealand, they've won awards for their PE product👍

Had the same experience from HKG to YYZ last week. They ran out of dim sum breakfast in PE as well.

Lack of food options happen in both PE and Economy, the most ridiculous part is the fight attendants actually asked the passengers to complain to Cathay on their behalf

I feel they must have upgraded premium econ since I have last flown premium econ…

I find it hard to believe that Cathay could run out of a food product for premium economy as they should be served before economy & therefore have plenty of product. There are not that many seats in premium economy this shouldn't have happened.
