If she had a pimp when she was 13 she’s not a prostitute… she’s a victim of human trafficking 😤
  • @izalarose4965
When we talk about being a “prostitute” at 13 years old - we are actually talking about a child who has been a victim of child sexual exploitation. We should be making this clear in our terminology. A pimp is an organised criminal who should be prosecuted and the clients jailed. Children cannot consent when they are being enforced to do something. Hoping she can find the help/support she needs to find freedom from this oppression!
  • the way she went silent after the interviewer asked her if she feels like shes walking in her mothers footsteps just gave me tears

I want to take all her pain away. This girl deserves so much love. She’s handles this interview with so much dignity.

She held her shit together for 25 minutes before shedding a tear. Through everything she spoke of and recalled. That's strength.
  • I came from a wonderful family. Fell into prostitution and stripped for 20 years. Drugs alcohol total insanity. Raped, bitten, lit on fire, beat up, guns to my head and knives to my throat and left for dead. It's a life that just gradually happened to me and then it was the norm. I was able to switch off emotions whenever I needed to. I had a madam for years until I went out on my own. Lived that life for 20 years. Thank God I survived. Now I am a proud woman in recovery and I wouldn't change a thing about my past. I get her totally.

My heart goes out to this child. Heartbreaking. She is smart, articulate, and clearly has so much potential.

I was still playing with dolls at 13, sheltered and clueless. Crazy how different a life I could have had if I was born into a different family. I hope she gets out of this cycle.
  • The phrases “child prostitue” and “teenage prostitute” shouldn’t exist. There’s no such thing as either. They’re both just children being abused, call them that.
  • @Mozzermarr10
Fascinating and heartbreaking. She’s so well spoken and poised for someone who has been through so much. Wish her all the best.

She talked about herself and acknowledged how tough her life is and yet I didn't sense any victim speak from her. There is dignity in her, acceptance and honesty about the circumstances. My heart broke when she said her brother died 3 years ago and a minute earlier she said she started taking drugs about 3 years before. Take care Exotic, I hope life turns for you and you achieve the goals you have set for yourself.

What’s with the foster care system destroying individuals? She deserved to be sheltered and protected. I hope she can leave this lifestyle, she’s so young and well-spoken, there are so many opportunities out there for her.

She's describing slavery. She escaped 6 times. She is strong.
  • I've seen so many of the videos on this channel and have to say I've learned more than taking a class on understanding what happens to people. It feels like a AA meeting of people who have really worked on themselves as much as they can in their own ways. Honesty like this is hard to come by. It's rare to see such care in interviewing people who have been through so much trauma. Wish I was able to tell my story this well composed. It's impressive.
  • I so appreciate these videos. I’m touched and inspired by every one. I’ve always wanted to do a series like this interviewing people within the indigenous community.
  • @brindamarie
When she started crying I just wanted to hug her .. I pray she finds happiness for her and her children .
  • @picklepirate
The forced “branded” tattoos isn’t discussed enough when talking about rape and trafficking. It’s so sad this happens to so many women.
  • Asria, I hope beyond all the comments of those who can’t possibly understand you and your life, that you see the beauty and strength in you. You have survived so much and learned how to cope, as any human would with the traumatic things you have been seen and endured. Keep going! Lean on the support wherever it appears. Thank you for sharing your story and take as long as you need. Healing is a process and a lot to unpack and it doesn’t look pretty….we ALL hurt people and we only know what we know. Find your truth, however and whatever that looks like for you.
  • This interview bought tears to my eyes. So much talent in so many ways and she doesn't even know it.
