Written by a genius, sang by an angel, covered by a legend.
  • @RJ67.
I don't always listen to Chris Cornell, but when I do, so do my neighbors
  • @jchinckley
This man had one of, if not the , greatest voices in the history of music.

Prince wrote it, Sinead sang it to the world, Chris covered it like only he could. Nothing compares 2 you 3. Sing in peace.

Don’t cry because he’s gone. Smile because he was here.
  • @lewisaultman
Chris and Sinead are somewhere singing this together. RIP to two amazing artists the likes of which we'll never see again.

This rendition of this song will never not give me goosebumps 😔

The good ones die too soon, but their voices echo through eternity. Rip Chris Cornell and Sinéad O'Connor.
  • My wife passed away in my arms on New Year's Day. This was one of her favorite songs. She would play it all the time and it would make her cry everytime. It even came to mind while I was saying my final goodbyes to her. She was such a kind and gentle person... This hits so hard now. She gave me and the kid 11 wonderful years. She won't get to see our kid grow up... but at least she isn't hurting anymore. Thank you for being in our lifes, HunnyBunny. We love you, we miss you. Brandy 10-21-1985 - 1-1-2022

Prince wrote it. Sinead popularised it. Chris immortalised it.
  • @bamlarson852
Prince wrote it, Sinead released it, Chris covered it and all died far too young. That's some bad mojo tied to a great tune...

I just looked up the word "Silky" in the dictionary and when i turned to the correct page, chris cornell's voice just appeared as if it were coming down from the heavens.
  • I don't get emotional when musicians or celebrities die. But right now this 40 year old man is crying like a baby listening to this song. Words can't express the talent this man possessed. The world lost a great one that will never be replaced. Love you man and thanks for the music! R.I.P. Chris....for people who don't understand why others mourn the death of artists, you need to understand that these people have been a shoulder to cry on. A rock. They've been family, friends, leaders, teachers and roll models. Many have taught us what we need to know and what to do when times get rough. They've helped us move on. They've pushed us out of bed. They've helped us live when nobody else had time to. Artist have inspired us in endless ways and have been with us through stages in our lives. We've made memories with them. So when they die a part of us dies.

It's 2022 and Chris Cornell is still one of the greatest vocalists of all time

How anybody can not be missing him ? That voice is haunting no matter what he sang.
