Is V Rising Worth Playing? 1.0 First Impressions

I've been absolutely loving the game since EA. I have played it since last year in the original version, the Gloomrot update and now in 1.0. And now I've accumulated about 400 hours. Since I've been into Vampires in fantasy and I love survival games, this game is tailored to me. The isometric view is something that I don't like myself, I prefer the normal third-person or first-person view. But playing it, I got used to it. Since I generally play on PvP servers in this game, I would have loved a Raid rework. With more Golems, Siege Engines, proper traps, and the ability to use your servants aggressively. Maybe in a future update. The game does have some lore, but it's not a whole lot. It's explained through the boss description, passively through the (for example all the ruins of former castles), and partially through NPC voice lines. It doesn't have a story per-say but it has lore. I would love to see more videos about V Rising on this channel. And so I have a chance to give a key to a friend: Vampire 🧛‍♂️

Yeah! A new vampire joins the cause. BTW as a fellow lore junkie, I can inform you there is a ton of lore. It is just somewhat difficult to track down. But to start of I recommend you just look at the V Blood descriptions and see what you can infer.

The comment about not being into something until "X" was such a vibe, just like you, I wasn't into dinosaurs until "The Isle" and I wasn't that much into vampires until "V Rising" (it actually made me look the series "Castlevania" and I loved it :p) Edit: Also the "specific storage" update is the best thing I've ever seen in any game, period. I really don't understand how none of the tons of survival games I've played before had something like this. GOTY.

Castlevania really got me into vampires, I would love it if it gets to be a part of the game.

I played a lot of this for three months during early access. Super excited for full release. We are adding this to the queue for group game night and I'm excited to get my vampire on.

I'm glad they made (vampires) back to what they were. And has like a Tribes of Midgard feel to it. Will definitely be checking this game out very soon.

There's a vampire battle royale game I know about. It's called Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, sadly the developers of the game stopped further development but it's free to play on PC and PS5. If you do give this game a try, remember that there's no cross save and the crossplay wasn't finished so PC can only team up with PC, PS5 with PS5. Also the game doesn't use real money anymore. You get tokens by finishing the game's free battlepassfor the game's store.

what a timing, just finished binging castlevania, I've had my eye on this particular vampire game for a while, though I've while since forgotten it. Non the less happy to see in get an official release

yes VAMPIRES truly interesting creatures that are fairly cool especially when you learn about their various abilities.
