S2j has had some iconic pop-offs. Obviously the one where he picks up the chair and almost hits Ice, but let's not forget the set against Wizzy where he tries to fist bump Wizzy while popping off and ends up punching Wizzy in the shoulder.

Hbox's popoff at Summit 7 is still one of the funniest things that I've ever seen happen on stream at a major. Every single aspect of it is just perfectly crafted for an unbelievably hilarious moment. The set finishing combo itself, hbox forgetting how to speak, zain picking up his controller off the ground, the no fistbump. It's all just perfect.

There were some great pop-offs that I wish could have made the cut. M2K winning Smash Summit 6, Armada beating Hbox at the same event, Hbox popping off so hard at Smash N Splash 3 that he breaks his foot, S2J picking up the chair at Shine.

I haven't watched the whole video yet but if Johnny putting the chair in the air isn't S tier for the memorability factor I'll be sad.

my favorite part of the Mango Evo 2013 pop off is that recently in a stream ranking his wins he said that the shirt wasn't even his, he asked a friend for the most american jersey shirt he had and then proceeded to toss it into the crowd and never returned it

The best part about the Professor Pro Snake popoff, is he times the pause so well that his character is lit up from the other guy exploding and glowing lmao

this was awesome! Can't believe Axe's summit win wasn't on there though. What makes it such a great pop off, is the composure he shows and the transition to the realization of finally winning it all that he makes mid pop-off, the pride and disbelief, followed up by the camera shot of him sitting back down and going through all of these emotions. Not every pop off has the same unleashed energy, but that one is definitely one of the most memorable for me, should definitely go in the pantheon. A great pop-off should make you feel something, and I think given the context of how summits work compared to other live events, Axe did the perfect pop-off

You ask anyone what type of video they wanna watch on YouTube and only melee fans will say a half hour long video about pop offs. Thank god for this channel 🙏🏻 Edit: at 15:30 my fav thing about this clip is how when everyone rushes the stage for mango, armada is still smiling, just happy for his opponent.

I'm a sucker for the no pop off pop offs, so m2k winning summit and axe winning summit are 2 of my favorites.

Not having armada vs mang0 at genesis 2 on the tier list feels weird. That pop off is so iconic.
