As a Korea (American) living in Malaysia, I've gotta say laksa is one of my favorite Malaysian food😍
  • @KakakKorea

Had a nice time trying Malaysian food and being introduced to the culture. 👍👍👍

Oh my gosh I miss Malaysia so much! I'm Korean who stayed in Malaysia for 6 years, I spend most of my teenage life in KL. Due to covid19 I came back to Korea but I still miss Malaysia so much🥲 Recently, I really really really want to eat Roti Canai and Nasi Goreng again, but I don't have much chance to eat Malaysia food over here. I miss the weather, ppl, food and everything. Hope I can visit Malaysia asap. Gosh im starving.

I traveled many countries, but Malaysia is the best country I've ever been! Can't wait to travel there again after Covid-19 disappears

Jiven's humor always gets me everytime out of nowhere! 😂😂😂
  • @jivensekarr
Thanks for having me guys. I totally understood Korean. 😂
  • We can see how Koreans are really good in describing and telling people what their dishes look like...
  • The Indian bro and the oppa my fave lol! They have such great chemistry together and looks like they would make a great comedy duo haha! My Korean partner tried the famous assam laksa in Penang but didn't like it tho 🤭🤭🤭

Karl and Jiven are amazing together, the way they describe the food and eat it together I can feel the bonds they create around the food. They make it so passionate, they made me hungry even tho I ate before watching the video !! Keep up the amazing vibes guys

Malaysia has so many different type of laksa depending on the state but i personally like Laksa Kedah and Curry Laksa, btw in Johor they actually have Laksa Johor which uses spaghetti with thick fish curry gravy .. i guess there are soo many unique dishes in Malaysia as well as in Korea.. the best dishes are mostly found at the local eateries/market.. Koreans could try the Malaysian mixed rice dish (nasi berlauk) or the banana leaves rice for a change, for me these really represents the variety of different types of seafood, meat and vegetable dishes often cooked in Malaysian homes (some good eateris offers up to 40 type of dishes and do come for lunch as early as 11am cause the crowd will be huge)

I hope we Malaysian could learn from Korean how to describe our food proudly and give them brilliant explanation such as the taste, the texture, the origins, how to get our food, rather than sembang2 kosong. We should proud with our food, sedap gilaaaa kot! 😊😊😊😊
  • shouldve added cendol in the ais kacang in my opinion, so that it represents more of malaysia. all in all im very happy to see such positive reactions on both sides! the assam laksa really made my mouth water and now im craving for it :/
  • @chachaicha00
Just wanna say that I really loves those two guys... Chu and Jevin, they should make eating show together😂
  • @Jack_Boon
Just actually proud watching this. The best satisfaction is when we are able to boast about our food as Malaysians.
