  • Believe me when I say that Altremer is going to be something that you have never seen before. This is mostly due to the fact that the massive team behind it is full of talent and passion, both of which are fueled by the support of people who like to back projects like this. Those of you who decide to become the first patrons at www.patreon.com/Altremer and support the project will receive a special bonus, their names in the credits of the pilot episode and will be invited to a special watch party when the episode drops. I hope you are as excited as I am!

This feels like a writer's attempt to create the most epic and convulated war narrative, only to end in a plot twist with the Ottomans winning. I love it

Cody is making a show? Amazing! I can’t wait to see more!
  • @IcyNinjaJ
A part 2 would be so interesting and captivating. I would love to know what would happen next in this what if.

As a Pole it's weird seeing Władysław Warneńczyk having a role in AltHistory. Especialy since his younge Brother Kazimierz Jaggielończyk is seen as more active and competent then his brother as he focused on finnaly getting rid of Teutonic Problem.

“If you are the Sultan, come here and lead your armies. If I am the Sultan, I hereby order you to come here and lead my armies.” My man is 12 years old and talking to his dad like that. Badass.

AlternateHistory going from a month of no uploads to 2 uploads in 2 days is a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one

Footnote: The Hungarians and their allies quickly returned to the crusade after meeting all of the treaty's short-term stipulations. An army mostly consisting of regular Hungarian soldiers as well as men from Poland and Transylvania was assembled by King Władysław. In the Nicopolis region, 4,000 Wallachians joined the 16,000-strong united army. The two armies engaged in combat in the Battle of Varna on November 10, 1444, close to the Bulgarian Black Sea citadel of Varna.

I'd like to see a video on if Timur's ambitions for conquering China had been realised and the consequences of it, along with if Timur had not existed!
  • @itsdonewith
Two alternate history videos in a week? Christmas indeed came early. Thanks Cody.
  • @AndreasEvgenikos
Absolutely a part 2 is warranted, especially considering the personalities involved.

Ahhh yes. November 10, 1444... The day before EU4's start! I learned more about the early modern period from looking up EU4 stuff than in school
  • @aslothnamedfish
Possible idea for a what if scenario: what if there was gold on the east coast of North America? What I learned in my US History class was that Europeans originally came to North America for gold but they didn't find any, but what if there was?

2:50 that "For thr Republic" and "For the Empire" gave me some OG Battlefront 2 flashbacks. Feels like im back in the 501st
  • I really love how this videos switched up styles! Keep it up, Cody! (Also please make a part 2)
  • @veritasetcaritas

One Immediate effect I can imagine is that the Church is United, under Rome. Though I am 30 seconds in. I expect that it’s mentioned. Thanks for Atlantropa Articles Cody. Keep it up 👍
  • It's always a pleasure to see a what if" scenario where The Roman Empire survives longer.
  • I was wondering why we got less videos lately and I’m so glad to see the altermer project. I can’t wait to watch
