  • I'm so glad this video was recommended to me. I'm just learning abstract painting. I learned a lot from watching this. Thank you.

I love this painting! The techniques are so great- contrast is critical, light on top of dark for depth. The saran wrap method- love love love. Of course the magic always happens in the moment, allowing things to flow thru you. I am an abstract painter and I really appreciate this video.

I like the presentation of your work with written instruction . No talking, no music, very peaceful.

  • what a wonderful tutorial - I love your work. Have just started to attempt to do abstract art and find it so much more difficult than realistic landscapes I've previously done.

rarely do I like an art guidance video but found this very inspiring in a time of artists block! thank you

Hi Adele! I'm moving from realism to abstract and you're right, abstract is much more difficult. One really has to create something from nothing as opposed to copying something that already exists. My question is when you are 'glazing' in White, is it Opaque or Transparent?
  • Your method is so inspiring. Tried the grid method with amazing results. Thank you so much.
