Lan Del Rey - Blue Jeans (Lyrics)

Blue jeans, white shirt
Walked into the room, you know you made my eyes burn
It was like James Dean for sure
You're so fresh to death and sick as ca-cancer
You were sorta punk rock, I grew up on hip hop
But you fit me better than my favorite sweater
And I know that love is mean (Oh-oh) and love hurts (Oh-oh)
But I still remember that day we met in December, oh, baby

I will love you 'til the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby, can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember (Oh, baby), say you'll remember
Oh, baby, ooh—I will love you till the end of time

Big dreams, gangsta
Said you had to leave to start your life over
I was like, "No, please—stay here
We don't need no money, we could make it all work"
But he headed out on Sunday, said he'd come home Monday
I stayed up waiting, anticipating, and pacing
But he was chasing (Oh-oh) paper (Oh-oh)
Caught up in the game, that was the last I heard

I will love you 'til the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby, can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember (Oh, baby), say you'll remember
Oh, baby, ooh—I will love you till the end of time

You went out every night, and baby, that's alright
I told you that no matter what you did, I'd be by your side
'Cause I'ma ride or die, whether you fail or fly
Well, shit, at least you tried
But when you walked out that door, a piece of me died
Told you I wanted more; that's not what I had in mind
I just want it like before, we were dancing all night
Then they took you away, stole you out of my life
You just need to remember

I will love you 'til the end of time
I would wait a million years
Promise you'll remember that you're mine
Baby, can you see through the tears?
Love you more than those bitches before
Say you'll remember (Oh, baby), say you'll remember
Oh, baby, ooh—I will love you till the end of time

  • She is going to be one of those artists that kids will become obsessed with in 30 years and cry about how they were born in the wrong generation.

This song will never get old and Lana will never get ugly. Like for eternal beauty.
  • She was 10 years ahead of everyone else. This is as relevant now as it was then. Lana is timeless.

Lana Del Rey isn't a name. It's an emotion.

And here my friends, the definition of "aesthetically pleasing" was invented.
  • I've been listening to this song for 11 years, and I've never skipped to the next song in all that time. By far the music I've listened to the most in my life. Lana is unique, such an amazing artist.

This song is just unmatched. “I will love till the end of time , I would wait a million years”~ Lana del Rey, 2012
  • Whole music video looks like a perfume commercial and I love it

i was rewatching some Lana's videos and suddenly realized how much I love this woman. she is everything.
  • When people say this deserves more views they don't take into account the fact that not everybody is capable of feeling greatness

I remember the moment when I saw this video for the first time. It was in May 2012. The time was about 5am, I was sitting on the floor in my room preparing for my 10th grade exams. The TV was on just for background, music playing on MTV. The first was the sound. The sound you never knew you'd been waiting to hear, something hypnotic and dragging all the attention to itself. I sharply turned my head in a moment, and then... There was the picture. And that was it. 100% coincidence. It was something that you see and realize: I've been looking for it for my entire life, and it will never be the same again. I stuck to the TV and couldn't turn my head away anymore. That was the day I became a fan of Lana. In just a year, in 2013, I was already vibing at her concert in my city. And to this day, I completely convinced that "Blue Jeans" one of the greatest pieces of art in human history. Both the song and the video are amazing.

When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you 💕
