I love how the music just STOPS and you realise how fast your heart is beating. Now THAT is how you intro a racing game.

Love the part that starts at 1:01. Makes it feel like the cars are the protagonists of some epic movie.

I'll put it this way. The EU Version is epic, hands down. It gives you an adrenaline rush like no other. The JP Version is much the same, though personally, I thought it was much lighter toned. Sure, same song and everything, but it only got good near the end. The US Version is dramatic. Different song altogether, of which gave it an upbeat, electronic feeling. The slow motion added intensity. Either way, can we all agree that this is the best damn racing game in the universe? XD

I was 8 when this game dropped. Absolutely loved it, the graphics blew my mind, especially the interior view, never seen anything like it.

This is oddly enough the Gran Turismo installment that i had the most fun with. I could sit through a whole night with my Logitech G25 tearing up the online servers, always wanting to go faster.

Another hugely atmospheric GT intro that really makes me want ot race some cars, not sure where PD went wrong for GT5 but its nothin like as emotive as this.
