  • I have been using the Conair dryer for a little over a year now, but after watching this video, I decided to spring for the Curlsmith Defrizzion. WOW!!!! Money well spent! My dry time went from 15+ minutes to 6-7 minutes! I definitely love the kickstand option. Also, in spite of its size, it is definitely lighter than the Conair dryer. I was getting arm and wrist fatigue with it but didn't at all with the Curlsmith. LOVE your videos! Thank you for all of your time and research :)

I use the Conair dryer/diffuser and I love it! I haven't tried any of the other ones... thanks for the comparison!

I have the Bionic Universal Diffuser bought at Ulta. Its working great for me so far and I’m a beginner.
  • @ThePatuna
I bought the Shark at Costco for $150. Loving it so far and I agree it's pretty hot,. I only use the low heat setting. BUT the only negative I have so far is it's HEAVY!! It's the cord because it's like industrial thickness lol.
  • @shaylarz
My hair dryer just decided to kick the bucket so good timing for this video

I bought the Shark IQ several months ago after watching your video review on it. Previously I used an older model T3 with a diffuser I bought after market. It was ok but I was annoyed with the lack of flexibility of the diffuser. The main thing I like about the Shark is the easily retractable prongs for diffusing end vs roots. It did speeed my drying time by maybe 2-3 minutes...so that is a wash in my book. The size of the hair dryer when the diffuser is detached is good for travel and packing. I had to get used to the weight distribution of the dryer, the cold shot is mostly very warm...never really cold, and the shorter cord length is less desirable. Having said all that I probably would buy it again. I rule out the Curlsmith brand because of body and diffuser head size in terms of travel...I don't have money or space for 2 hair dryers
  • @bibi3297
incredibly informative 👏🏻 Thank you! 🌹
  • @saral6978
I have the Curlsmith one with the giant bowl. It's amazing!!

I'm still using my Devacurl blow dryer. That green diffuser it came with is trash so I have that huge Black Orchid diffuser attached but I had to buy a certain piece to make it fit. Its called a Snozzle. Both still working like a dream. I think when it finally dies I will switch to the Curlsmith dryer.
