Marisha has confirmed that Matt will sit in his office for hours practicing different sounds, like the guttural baby's wail from a recent Critical Roll episode. People figured that he did them in front of the dog, but I reminded them that his bird's named after one of the great old-ones, Dagon, and that's probably who he's practicing with.

The most impressive one I've heard him do is a chair being pulled back across the floor. Just perfection.

"There's a slight difference." Laura doesn't let anything slide. Amazing!
  • @ClaireDuhLune
I cant even conceptualize how to position my tongue for that kind of noise
  • I can handle his amazing prepared battle sets, his character voices, and his amazing settings, but when he makes sound effects like that I get jealous. For real though, this is sick!

He didn’t even have to say she’d torn the spine out, the sound effect just so vividly expressed that fact.
  • I mean, the thought process that different vertebrae are popping out of a wet hole. Genius.

Things you cannot get away with saying with Laura Bailey in the room.

Anyone catch the Luara perked up at the mention of "Bone him like a fish."? Never Change, Laura. Never Change
  • @Yue_Jin
why didn't he make sound effects for her ''boning him like a fish''
  • @JeshieWafflez
After hearing the sounds 7 times, and practicing it for less than a minute, I have it down. Thanks Matt!

0:09 "How do you wanna finish off this guy?" Just doesn't sound right. Hope he finds a better way to phrase that.

One of my personal favourite was when Matt produce a face slapping sound with his mouth only. It's from the Honey Heist 2 episode. I did a double take and have to rewind a bit to watch and listen to that moment again.

This on par with the “i ate his liver” slurp
