Thank you for shining the light on these sacred beings. So beautiful you connected with them.

Excellent episode Maddie. A little hope in humanity is restored when good people step up to show kindness to creatures who have suffered so much, and with people like you who use their platform to bring attention the good work they do. ❤✌🏼🙂

Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm so glad that there are places like this to help and take care of animals who have been majorly mistreated and everything. I wish that we didn't need places like this but the sad and disappointing fact is that there are people in this world who treat animals so badly that it makes places like this necessary. Personally I don't understand how a person can be so cruel to any living thing. It's just so sad and heartbreaking.

This specific sanctuary is my only aim in a visit to the far-east... it's the real-deal, and even more-so, as they are a vegan organization. ❤ Thank you so much for this video, Maddie!

Thank you for posting this Maddie. Some of this is so heartbreaking. I am glad that this place exists ! Much love to you from California ! 💕🌷🙏
  • So good to know that their days of suffering are over. 🐘🍉😍 Big thanks to the Elephant Nature Park and thanks for sharing this experience with us Maddie. 👍🙏🤗

Maddie, I usually avoid these kinds of videos because my heart breaks at seeing/hearing the origin stories. Thank you for putting this beautiful film together to raise awareness and offer us a look into the lives of the magical people behind these places. * also I think you mean they drink 50 gallons or 189 litres, not grams 😊 I know you probably filmed that outro from the parking lot you're waiting at, and just wanted to note that you're looking beautifully light and happy. Even if this is a mask for the video, I know you're grateful and are working to bring joy into the world (this video is proof), so thank you for keeping your light shining ❤

They are the most underappreciated and highly intelligent animal on this planet. If not for dedicated people and places like these sanctuaries, we would lose our wild life. ❤
  • @bctoledot1
Nicely done! My hometown moved all their elephants to another accredited animal park where they could have more space and be social. They are totally enjoying their new home.

Thank you! Elephant Mother Lek Chailert is on her tour spreading the word in Australia and New Zealand currently.

Thank you for sharing this video. Hopefully this video will help prevent & stop further exploitation of these majestic, beautiful, sensitive and intelligent animals. No living creature should be subjected to exploitation.

You deserve a gold star for bringing this informative video to YouTube. It’s sooooo refreshing to see the care and loving these massive animals are receiving. Gracias🙏🏼

Maddie, your videos are always amazing, but occasionally you really hit one out of the park! Thank you for such an emotional, educational, and heartfelt posting. This video really touched me and, I’m sure, many of your viewers alike. I hereby nominate this for the You Tube Video of the Year award!
  • Great Video!!! The elephants and the rest of the animals deserve a better place to stay. It reminds me of the time seeing elephants and other wild animals from the San Antonio Zoo from good old times.

  • @stevecarter8846
Well done you for putting this out there on YouTube, their treatment is barbaric. So glad there are places such as the one you visited that are saving them from that torture ❤
