Excadrill has been a really popular Pokémon to use in the Go Battle League in the Master League in Pokémon Go. Due to its steel & ground typing combination, it is able to take on many of the top meta Pokémon in the Master League, even some of the top Legendary Pokémon.

    Facing level 50 mewtwos and level 50 Dialga or Giratinas in every team is frustrating and ive been playing for years i can only imagine how the new players feel

    Got a hundo drillbur from the gbl encounter two days ago. Pretty cool and happy with it. Now I just need 250candy xl more to max it...

    the addition of mud shot to Excadrill brought it into meta, or else, i doubt it cant even beat a togekiss

    I used Excadrill quite a bit but even a level 50 one is actually glassy when facing legendaries for example. I used to see a lot of Melmetal leads but even though typing wise Excadrill should be the favorite superpower hits so hard that you have to make the right decisions when to shield and when not. Against Giratina (either form) and Mewtwo for example Excadrill is also not that consistent. Drill Run doesnt do enough damage and Mud Shots obviously neither. I would guess one of the Landorus Forms would perform better due to the better typing but then it is a legendary where most people wont have the resources.Open Master League is just weird :D

    I wonder how Mewtwo and Giratina in the same team handle spammy Dark types like Yveltal,Zarude,Darkrai and ............ Anyways nice matches. Great content

    it is hard to face level 50 legendary pokemon but I have found a team I like to use in the master league my team isn't level 50 pokemon nor am I level 40 I'm a fairly new player I just started playing last year and my team isn't legendary pokemon either but they are level 40 or close to it but I do ok in the master league I don't always win but at the end of the day I have fun playing the game

    I prefer melmetal over excadrill, but yeah its a dope pokemon for sure in the GL
