Being is prior and independent of thinking. Thinking in order to operate, being is required… One can not think if he/she doesn’t exist first. So one’s being doesn’t begin and end with thinking… we are more than that actually not theoretically. ❤❤🙏🙏

I think Brain not only generates thoughts but also responsible for various other processes in the body. Such as opening and closing eye lids, breathing, like various other dormant processes. I would rather say conscious thought process is only a small portion of the brain activity. Brain has the power to stop the thought and look at the empty canvas of the mind. But many of us lost that power to continuous chattering of the mind. When one gets back that power then that one awakens to different kind of reality. That one really sees this world radically in different perspective. That one attains the highest psychologically.

0:43 "If you could do with the psyche, what you've done with technology. . . "

He speaks truth. But I don't think he means the brain. He means the One Mind, which we all share, that goes BEYOND the brain once we are free of the 'separate' psyche (which he has said in so many words in other talks).
  • The Brain , the Mind, the Body are subtly interconnected to each other. Each one has a strong influence on the other. Psyche is an interactive response of the brain which calculates risk and reward related to survival and wellbeing , both physical and psychological. Genetics and the influence of genes with accumulated experience over the millennia has certainly a great role on how our brain works and its subjective functional entity, the mind. The best thing one does is avoid the over-cluttering of the brain with the mind's subjectivities. The mind is the tool developed by the brain in the long evolutionary course to facilitate awareness and awareness of universal identification.

The sensory organ eyes watching particular thing which is control by brain and ear listening another thing and some thoughts are generated from memory all are controlled by brain but it is a mind is deciding factor which should focus or function on it mind and brain not same

Many thanks to JK for this enlightened insight. Ever since mankind originated main function of the brain is to, record, experience, and generate thoughts based on the stored memory in response to senses. The path or the process of the brain unto today is ....recording experience or knowledge / thought / free of thought & vice versa. During the day may be we experience the "free of thought" time in seconds, this is the path of conditioning the human brain. So this "in seconds", insight which we consciously would not know. That second or a very short time of brain -- free of thought may give rise to the full power of brain, the creativity - which we may not know. Unconsciously, it may give birth to a creative idea in any related field. That minute of time may give or lead us to have insight. So Albert Einstein may have many instances of thought free brain time, compared to many of us. This may be the reason the technological world is a kind of a ladder - step by step development. The Buddha would have reached the psychological level that, instantly he may have dropped every thought generating activity, keeping the brain free of thought, life time. In his case the brain does not slip, between mind & brain, and having full brain power at his disposal.
