Feeling triggered? Me too. I mean, how could Mark Knopfler get a 6/10? WTF! 0:01
  • @retrowave762
“I only recognize Mark Knopfler by Sultans of Swing” Sad Money for Nothing noises
  • @CaptAnderton
Wow!! Just being on a list (not even this list - any list!!!) is a crazy honour. Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm speechless (almost a first for me!!)
  • Mark knopfler is literally the best rhythm guitar player by your definition dude. Its so sad that noone recognizes the pure brilliance of his playing. He sings and plays really awesome too. Hes the most humble yet best guitar player
  • @DaringNote62
I got to see Mark Knopfler live, I'd easily give him a 10/10.
  • @JakeMatye
Buckethead is a 10. I witnessed him live and he has a very unique ability to absolutely put you into a trance, I’ve never felt the same listening to any other guitarist and I’ve seen many

Mark Knopfler is the most underrated guitarist out there in my opinion, there is a story out there that he once played through David Gilmour's entire rig and still managed to sound exactly like himself. So as far as not being recognisable, I'd say he has one of the most recognisable tones out there!
  • @kevbotchill
Ouch hitting Knopfler with a 6? You need to listen to more of his stuff guys a legend
  • @AgentJayZ
David Gilmour gets my vote for an eleven.
  • @TheKiteless
Can I just say that a six for Knopfler is an utter misrepresentation. I'm not the biggest fan of Dire Straits' music, but as a guitarist Knopfler is one of those rare guitar players where the music just seems to flow from his hands without thinking.
  • @mememan7789
for everyone complaining, this is based on his opinion even if mark knopfler is just a 6 😠
  • @jondubb35
Jerry Cantrell is a super underrated guitar. His song writing alone makes him one the best of all time. But what really sets him apart, his tone. He has perhaps the most tasteful tone of all the 90s Seattle bands.

Feel vs tech. I don't care. If it sounds good it is good.

Please listen to Dire Straits again. Their complete discography is a flawless, glory showcase of the guitar. Not a single lame song. Also some stuff of Knopflers solo career is definetly worth checking out.

David Gilmour is a 10/10. His solos and feel are insane. And he has memorable solos like Comfortably Numb, Time, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Have A Cigar, and Another Brick in The Wall Part 2 and he has very memorable riffs like Money, Wish You Were Here, Run Like Hell, and Another Brick In The Part 2.
