This movie made me cry throughout it, I have a concussion that has changed my entire life! I can’t jog, ride a bike or even bowl straight. This movie choked me up, the poor girl😢I have constant ringing in my ears, confusion and I mess up all of the time! It’s awful! I hope the real girl got through this!

  • Thank you for this movie. I can understand deeply a trauma brain injury, brain concussion and Acquired brain trauma very well. A year ago, I had open brain surgery. The impact of the surgery cause Acquire brain trauma which caused a brain concussion as well. Yes, I miss my old self and some memories was erase as well and new ones. I am still in recovery and trying step by step living with my new self with love, new beginnings and laugh on the way. Love and Light to all.

My father died in 2021 and “thrive” is one of his favorite words. Seeing this movie made me smile… thinking it’s a message from him.😢❤

What an extraordinary movie. How beautiful the story line and the interpretation by the actors. Anybody can relate to a past trauma, accident, lost of a love one, bad parents or difficult schooling and this film is about recovery and self acceptance in a very powerful way. Highly recommended and better yet a must own film

A truly amazing movie. Am sure there are many out there who have struggled as Ali did but eventually found their self. WE need to put our trust in the Lord. He is in charge and things happen for a reason. Thank you for this movie
  • I really love this movie because I know what it's like to lose a huge part of yourself. I had a really traumatic experience when I was younger and never, ever got all of me back again. You don't know what that's like unless you experience it and it's very painful. I honestly don't know what all got me through it, other than my faith in God, but over the years I've been slowly putting the pieces back together again.

Her true self emerges after the accident. Good thing she kept her Poem book hidden, it was her self expression opening her awareness and becoming alive again. She cannot remember what was not real about her. A lesson to everyone to be yourself and don't be someone's expection.

Part of me would love a brand new fresh start, not remembering things that were hard. Seeing life in a new perspective, but in a way I won't be who IAM without life having it's natural course of action. And very frustrating to not have memories that I once shared with people I love. ❤😢😊

A heartfelt movie with several life messages–and a story that rings genuine too. Ali's story tugs at your heart in seeing her try to find her way back from AND out of all the expectations of those in her life. Seriously, the latter part is often harder than the rest. (Totally different, yet relatable: for two of my own family members, RIP, it took them years to get past the expectations/limitations others would put on them, even if it all was done with good intentions.)

What a beautiful movie....so tender and thought provoking! I really hated to see it end!
  • The story was so captivating that I felt every emotion that she went through. She had to face the reality of her situation and move forward with her life. She had to release the pain of her blur and unknown past and stop dwelling on it. It was a chance for her to start anew and rediscover herself.
