The astounding rescue of a child dangling from a Paris balcony has caught the imagination of the world. Mamoudou Gassama - a young Malian migrant - met the French president and has been told he'll have his citizenship fast-tracked. Some have accused France's politicians of opportunism and hypocrisy - but most just want to pay their tribute to a true hero.

That young man has amazing upper arm strength!! 💪💪❤️ I think it was his destiny to save this child. Having left his homeland and crossing many countries, to end up in Paris, on that street, at that moment to save that child.... Destiny. Destiny to become a French citizen.
