The film opens with a group of monks climbing up to Castle Dracula to perform an exorcism, as Dracula's presence still haunts the area.
One of the monks accidentally cuts his hand and his blood seeps into the icy ground, reviving Dracula from his frozen state.
Dracula, now awakened, begins to regain his strength and power. He sets his sights on revenge against the townspeople who sealed his castle and stopped his reign of terror.Dracula starts to prey on the local villagers, turning some into his undead minions. The townspeople begin to notice strange occurrences and fear that Dracula has returned. Meanwhile, a young couple, Paul and Maria, find themselves caught in the middle of Dracula's resurgence. Paul becomes determined to stop Dracula and protect Maria from his evil influence.
