Winona Ryder stole my heart

Brings back memories. I was dragged kicking and screaming to cotillion in 1961. Hated it every minute until the day we first tried conga. This is the song they played on the record player, and that day I drew Michelle Harris as a partner. Possibly the favorite two hours of my childhood. Michelle was hot, and I'll never forget her.

This movie had little in the way of special effect, just talented, talented people and great restoration of classic song, we need more movies like this.

Harry Belafonte was the "electro-dance music" in the '50s. My parents loved it. My son loves EDM now ... 40 years later. Most "styles" follow a 40 or 50-year life span ... before they repeat. Important note: Artistic styles ALWAYS repeat.
