The battle hymn of the republic still brings tears to my eyes after 77 years. I remember sing this song in grade school and It brought tears to my eyes then. There are a small group of people in this wonderful country who hate this country, and want to tear it down. But you don't see these same people leaving and going else where. If this country is so bad how come there are millions of people wanting to come here to become American citizens. My advice to those who say they hate my country, I say to you shut up sit down become a better citizen, or get the hell out of my country.

I never grew up with Orson Wells, but in school I watched his movies in English class in high school. Orson Wells was an artist, visionary, and a genius.
  • Orson Welles was one of the greatest orators the US has ever had

I think none could have stated this message better or, more eloquently. Our nation needs to revisit this epic hymn and and give it the respect and grandeur it so deserves.

We should recall these words and the blood spilled to preserve this nation. As an immigrant's son these words have great meaning to me.

Orson could make a biscuit recipe sound momentous. I wish he’d been able to hang on a little longer.
  • My eyes have seen. My ears have heard. My soul feels. Don’t give up on yourself, Don’t give up on others…

As a Canadian who served in the USN in the early 60’s these words resonate to all mankind not just those who live in the USA. It is time for your great nation to resolve your differences within & once more be the great leader of democracy you have always shown the world. God Bless America.🇺🇸

Orson Welles: what one means by an 'American man'. Despite the newspapers, the social media, the TV, the Rallies; we know some still exist.

My Father was in WWII on the U.S.S. Battleship Texas in every theater of that war. He was my hero! He loved all the old Patriotic Songs, and I loved him! This video came up through some of my searches on YouTube. Now I would like to say Thank You for posting this video. I never seen this till tonight, and my Fathers Presence was here with me as I watched. Thank You again for your patriotism!
