for 25 years now i have been following carl & Rick... Their Music has been there for me on bad times as well as the good times.... such natural and humble guys had no idea what the impact on the EDM scene they would make and even to this day I just saw them April 2024 for the 10th time at my glorious age of 56 years young...

My favorite Underworld related memory (never seen them live) is when I went to see U2 at the Meadowlands years ago and while I was waiting for the show to start, they were playing random music over the speakers as they usually do at these shows. The song that was playing at that moment was "Confusion the Waitress" and I remembered thinking to myself, "That has to be Underworld." I was only familiar with "Born Slippy" and "Dark and Long" from Trainspotting at that time but somehow I was able to make the connection. Then, "Pearl's Girl" started playing and they put it LOUD. Hearing that song for the very first time like that over this crazy, all enveloping sound system is a memory I hold close.

These guys are gods.. to think that since the ancient greece the best thinkers we had, had a special space or meanings for music, and I think Underworld recognize that... i mean it wasnt about making some popular melodies but to create some amazing music textures whom you could dance to,,,, its just fuckin amazing!

Will this album be remembered in another 20 years time?? Fuck yeah!

The artists of the underworld symbolize all the complexity of the human being, they showcase it and I think that when they leave, a part of me will go with them ... It's more than music, it's transcendent... Dirty epic, dark and long (remastered) deep arch and little Speaker, particularly. These 4 songs have changed my vision more than any other music I have heard in my life. Ya ? Sorry for my bad english.

"Failing" this actually helped me to understand what it feels like being a musician. Thank you so much, Rick Smith and Karl Hyde.

I remember being an 18 year old who heard this album. I remember being on happy pills seeing them for the first time, I remember seeing them at Megadog, but I also remember travelling to Paris with my best friend to see it in 2016, and loving it even more, straight. I remember Karl being my hero when I was in bands, I love Underworld, indelibly.
