I enjoy using my Apple card as my primary card. It may not be the most optimized thing on the market, but it works for me.
  • @Nickot33n1988
If you are not getting 2% with most of your purchases on the card you are not shopping in the right places. Apple Pay is everywhere these days. Come on man
  • @DREAMPIECE
I have the card but when RH comes out with the Gold card I don’t see myself using this card anymore. I am right now trying to figure out what card to get next actually between Amex Blue Cash Preferred, BoA Customized Cash, and US Bank Cash+. I feel like that Robinhood card is gonna rock the credit card world like how the Apple Card and CSR did. What do you think? Btw appreciate your content! 🍯
  • @D.I.G.
I get 2-3% on literally every purchase bro 😂 idk why some people struggle to use Apple Pay. I never use the physical card. Just carry it for foreign travel.

Any tips on how to tell if HYSA doesn’t have a middleman like synapse?

Can you do a video on Brokerage CD's as an alternative to high yield savings accounts?
  • @Bgtrfvcde
It’s very convenient and is my primary card. Tap is almost everywhere.
  • @sintay8002
Off topic but can you help us stay up to date if any news about Yotta’s situation comes out? That would be cool and helpful. Also I noticed that we have routing/account numbers supposedly under the FDIC insured bank… gonna give them a call tomorrow..
  • @lanerj
Thinking about apple card as an easy to use first credit card. Where are you where people aren't taking Apple Pay. Living in west michigan (and some northwest michigan) and traveling I've hardly ever been somewhere without tap to pay. I use it with a credit union debit card.
  • @peterparker2068
I just got the card to flex the metal card. I don't really use it or Apple Pay that much. Maybe as a catch all alternative sometimes but most of the time I use other cards to try and max out a 5% return on whatever I buy. As a credit card nerd optimizer I have a lot of better cards to use.
  • @nataleep
I'm not an apple user but it's been out for 6 years and not available in Canada... that's strange.
  • @alis.7553
in Saudi Arabia almost 100% of the places have apple pay
  • @nickhuynh6321
I applied and accepted to get the apple card but because I don't have an iphone or ipad there is no way for me to use the card or even request a physical card. The ads and marketing material does not make this clear that you will need an iphone or ipad. They could have at least made it possible to request for the physical card on a webpage but they don't, you must use iphone or ipad. So now I have an account but no way to use it, great....
  • @RonnieM90
Sam's Club, Walmart, and some Kroger locations do not accept Apple Pay.
  • @mikeyoung7640
As a Canadian, I would love this card to be in Canada most credit cards in Canada that have no annual fees offer 0.5% on all categories and maybe grocery recurring bill payments or transit what not would be 1% there are cards that offer for you 2% on groceries and one restaurant but there’s not a lot of them with no any of these the one that do you have any of these do offer free one percent on everything but they’re pretty high like $150 most of them have higher income requirements 2% on Apple Pay and Apple Pay basically everywhere including Walmart and since it’s MasterCard is accepted at Costco I would love this card and Canada and I hope it does come to Canada and if it does, I hope it has the same benefits as the state does

For the record, Goldman Sachs wanted a divorce before Apple did. GS is losing millions and millions of dollars on the Apple card, and consumer products in general. The only way GS can make money is with interest. Because all Apple card accounts close on the same day every month, this means GS customer support is inundated with calls on the same couple days every month. Other issuers distribute closing dates through the month to spread out the CS calls.
  • @Aren-Tibbs
I'm not sure what other card issuer will let Apple bend them over a barrel like Goldman Sachs did. I also don't think Apple would outsource control over the card experience to a third party. Apple held a tight control over the user experience with the Apple card. I doubt they will outsource that to a middleman company. I also am not confident that another bank or card issuer will let Apple dictate terms like GS let them do.
  • @kevcrid
The only thing I use Apple Card for is buying apple products with interest free installed payments. I hope Apple's new partner has better rewards.
