The Equinox - Ambient Space Music for Escape and Focus

Stopped over on my way to the Alpha Quadrant.The rooms are great with views of the jump-gate, and the restaurant serves the best gagh in the sector.Highly recommended.

I like that one cafe on Deck 7-B, section Octer-33, has a great view. And different specials every day.

The Burns-Shawyer Drive let out its static discharge as we came out of lightspeed, and I gazed in awe at the Equinox Station. The massive ring, adorned with an expansive center line extending in both directions had me gazing in awe. The enormous hub at the center was our destination, its metallic structure gleaming in the soft glow of the planet below. As I guided my Marauder class starship closer, I marveled at how large it actually was. It was the biggest The Coalition had built so far. The station's circular expanse symbolized unity, while the extending lines hinted at the connections reaching far into the cosmos. But I realized it was as deadly as it was beautiful when i noticed the rather large rail cannons and lasers tracking me as I went to dock on the closest arm. Wouldn't stand a chance against those things in our current configuration. It's a good thing that they are on our side.

I was once down there..when I was a kid. We visited the last of what remains. A booming city, now.. darkness. The light that seeps through is only from the hundreds of other stations like mine. That was 15 years ago. I’ve spent so much time up here, I could tell you more about the abyss than the remnant beneath. The thing I remember most…was the warmth. The sun wasn’t as hot as it is now. It was..soothing. The station.. my home I guess.. has always been cold. We’re jumping to a new system tomorrow, but first one last trip.. to the remnant. Shoutout @Cotcan for the inspo

It's wonderful to imagine that this is likely the awe-inspiring type of atmosphere that people would be able to experience in a spacefaring civilization during tours and travel in their cosmic journey. Very beautiful!

He watched as ships moved about through the window. They fluttered around the Equinox like bees around a hive. Several entered the great dockyard, replacing those that were leaving. Perhaps that would be him someday; piloting one of those ships into the void in search of adventure.
