Not gonna lie, I didn't expect Mushroom Gunslinger.
  • Amazing work and would love to see more kitbashes either complex like this or more of your normal stuff.
  • @full_of_blood
tau auxiliaries are such a cool space to explore with conversions, i'd love to see you do more of this kind of thing!!
  • Something interesting is in the Xenology book, there is a mycelium based race with 3 legs and what looks to be tau weaponry, so this could be an interesting way of bringing them to 40k or having a different mushroom people
  • @graefx
I love this. The concept, the sculpting and kitbash, and the high blue-orange contrast. Just all really inspired and challenging. The basing also gives me an idea to tie into some old green dry brushed sand astroturf bases.
  • This is pretty timely, considering the fact that I've been planning out a new custom Tau army composed almost entirely of auxiliaries. If you plan on making more Tau tutorials, maybe you could make one on converting human or votann auxiliaries, like your videos on guard regiments.
  • @bolicob
Yeah I'd be very interested in more videos like this
  • @SonOfTegz
Reminds me of the land sharks from Battle LA Also I just started a necron army and painted them in the same blue
  • @filleis6374
The idea of using ossiarch minis to create a base for a biomechanical model is truly a great choice. I would love to see some other tau auxiliary and just other species in general in the future. I would especially love to see a Rak Gol conversion. Also is there any reason why you save your basing until the very last step?
  • This is probably my favourite kitbash you've done. I absolutely love the concept of "space-fungus-xenos", and the T'au need some more interesting Auxiliaries. Also, love that colour scheme - the blue-grey and orange contrast looks so good, might steal it for my models!
  • @viorp5267
I do wish GW would pay more attention to non-mech T'au. It would probably be imbalanced as hell if they added the other races of the T'au emprie to the tabletop like the not!Squats, brain worms and super-psycher bears, but maybe for killteam at least? My ideal scenario would be if T'au was broken up into two armies like how Eldar are 5 and we get a separate army book for the Tau Auxillary Legion with models for the 20 or so canonical T'au empire races. A man can dream.
  • @Red0Leader
I would love to see some more Tau auxiliaries from you whether it's the more established stuff like Gue'vesa or more esoteric stuff like this.
  • @cavemanbum
I certainly don't have your same imagination to create an auxiliary race for T'au from scratch. However, a number of years ago, I began using Karmans from the AT-43 miniatures line as auxiliaries for my T'au forces in 40K. The models were inexpensive at the time, and they look fantastic when dressed up with a wash and some nice basing.
  • @RobertN734
Now I know what I'm doing for my next batch of Deathwatch RPG villains. I've already raided the Dark Souls miniatures for Ornstein and Smough (as alien metal bodies like the Astartes fan film).
  • I absolutely love this! If I were to field them as battlesuit proxies, I would add some tyranid wings in a moth or dragonfly like configuration, to make the fly rule make sense.
  • Maybe cause last of us in the zeitgeist but I imagine these guys being unkbowingly imitators other creatures around them. A space marine returns from his mission only to take off his helmet revealing a twisting stalks and caps of the creature that replaced them. As his former brothers level thier weapons, emotionless and unaware, he asks "what are my orders?"
  • @gusheine2119
I have no experience painting and building models, but your videos fill me with absolute joy, and I now have a kill team concept I'm trying to get together. Keep up the great work!
  • Definitely would love more like this! In terms of coming up with new ideas, Tyranids are always mutating into new biomorphs, there's always something to be made with them. More Tau auxiliaries would also be great, even if it's making better Vespids.
  • This kinda stuff would be great if officially added to the T'au range! Even if GW didn't want to write unique rules, even just having a model stand in for other T'au models would add so much flavor i feel like.
