The annual WHAS Crusade For Children charity auction of walking sticks carved by John Collins of Henryville Indiana. Mr. Collins is a U.S. Army veteran, and started carving while waiting to be sent home after Gulf War One. The twenty or so other walking sticks carved by Mr. Collins (my brother) are on display at the Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Department Station # 1 in Henryville Indiana. Large parts of Henryville were destroyed by a category 4 tornado on March 2, 2012. The person heard saying "that's my birthday" is Mr. Collins' wife.
