  • 68 year old man still jamming to new wave. You can't let it go. It's in our soul!
  • @andysolis9521
Still listening. Summer 2024. 80s best decade in history!! Miss those years of my youth ❤
  • @blank5390
In 1984 I drove the Church to their gig in Detroit with my dad's car. It's a long story of how and why, but know it was unforgettable
  • @honkykong1975
Thank you from a 50 year old still thriving on nostalgia.
  • @2815marionwood
I started college in 1979, fist real job in 1983, going to clubs, hanging with my friends, after college I had money in my pocket, traveled to Hawaii, Cayman Is, Europe, Mexico great decade for me! Damn I miss the 80's
  • @Wolfman1987
I am in tears right now with all the comments people are posting. Just happy to know that I'm not alone in missing the days when this music was king !!
  • Actually broke down and cried when I heard this mix. Brought back so many emotions thinking about my youth in the 80's with school, relationships and having fun in the clubs. What a time to be alive... although I know it's important to keep moving forward... I, for one day, would love to teleport back in time to 1985 - even if it's for just one day. What a BLAST!

Now the so called future has arrived, we all want to go back to the 80s . We all miss that feeling.

Reading thru the comments feels like a gathering of like-minded and like-aged souls. The 80s- what a truly great time we grew up in musically.
  • I HAD JUST FINISHED MY DRAFT SERVICE AND WHEN LISTENING TO THESE SONGS I FELT LIKE I WAS LIVING AGAIN AND NOW I HAVE THE SAME EMOTIONS
  • Im 50 years old now.. after listening, it sure made me emotionally happy and sad at the same time because of how the world has changed. A time where there weren’t any iPhone, iPads or worrying about how fast the internets. Friends were made face to face with out wearing a mask. A lot of time playing outside the house and going to Malls. I had and have good memories of my youth growing up in the 80s. Wishing I could go back just for a few hours and feel it again.

We were so lucky to have grown up in the 80s. I feel sorry my kids didn't have the same experience. Pub bands every weekend. We even had famous Aussie bands play at my Sydney high school at lunch time.
  • Only a beautiful soul would listen to this type of music. We were a different type of breed. The cool breed, The Best! This music actually meant something feelings from the heart ❤️.I grew in the 80s right when MTV first came out. I got my first taste of new wave music, and my whole persona changed. Lol. I was captivated and I was a new creature. It was an excellent time.

I cant help it. When I hear "Under the Miky Way" I have to listen to it until it finishes. Every time.
  • @dellcarr9805
When you’re 20 drinking mad dog smoking a joint then boom your 47. And you realized you are blessed to have lived during the best musical era.
  • Millennial here that enjoyed tail end of the 80s. Literally dancing in the bathroom stall at my job right now with headphones on. Best decade of the 20th century as far as music goes.
  • @miamiller4644
Gives me comfort to dance around my studio listening to all these artists who spoke to our generation. 58 going on 18. 😘😘😘
