Rohit Sharma is a "bindass" captain. In 2021, when he took over as the leader he wanted to transform the meek, outdated style of play into an all-out aggression that worked wonders for Australia and England. He walked the talk but was not intially successful. In 2022, India were outclassed by English in the semis. Then came the breakthrough year in 2023 when Rohit was at the forefront of blistering cricket that resulted in the 10 match unbeaten run at the WC at home. In 2024, he is no different having hit match winning knocks against the likes of England and Australia at an unprecedented strike rate. Modern, vibrant and dynamic touch is a legacy of Hitman. Hope he lifts the silverware today which will be a glorious farewell for him.
