More about Hydroneer (from Steam):

Hydroneer is a mining sandbox game where you dig for gold and other resources to build massive mining machines and a base of operation. Use primitive tools, hydro-powered machines, and player-built structures to dig and evolve your operation in this tycoon-style progression system.

Dig Deep!
Using a state-of-the-art voxel based terrain system, you can create cave networks, quarry pits, or even mud mountains. Discover relics of the past in the depths of Hydroneer, with better rewards the deeper you dig.

Forge, Build, and Create!
Hydroneer features a dynamic modular system for building structures and hydro powered machinery. Create the base of operations from your own design to optimise your work. Create networks of hydro pipes, control pressure. Craft resources, weaponry, jewellery, grow vegetables, and cook soup for villagers.

Hydro Powered Vehicles
Large hydro powered machines used for a variety of uses, from digging resources and finding ore veins, to transporting goods.

Explore the World of Hydroneer
Various parcels of land await you in the world of Hydroneer, each with their own advantages. Deeper pits, attractive scenery, and closer stores. You decide where to build your base of operations.

ABOUT THE DLC:
Sail across the sea to Volcalidus, where a new adventure awaits. This expansion delivers new mechanics to the game to aid you in your mining expedition - from huge new vehicles, to interesting new progression systems.

Harness the power of the volcano with new lava-powered machinery.

Help rebuild the capital town of New Glade, open new stores to browse.
Discover new resources deep underground.
Augment your tools and machinery while crafting them with buffs.
Operate new vehicles, including the huge Hydro-Hauler crane truck.
And more!

Journey to Volcalidus takes place in a completely new location, accessible via ship from Bridgepour Harbour. Due to the distinctive new features and mechanics of this expansion, items and vehicles cannot be taken to Volcalidus.

  • Devs of Hydroneer here... I wonder what bugs we're going to have to fix today!
  • @SafetyRabbit
Late at night Josh draws the curtains, kills the lights and pauses a moment to ensure he is alone and unobserved. He sits at his desk, wreathed in this privacy and indulges in a solemn, perverse act: Playing a game normally.
  • Shopkeeper: [exists] Josh for no reason: I am going to make you miserable
  • Devs: ok, we have an update/dlc, but it’s missing something Devs: Devs: let’s throw Josh at it. He’ll find it.
  • @crondog
Seeing the "no trucks" sign really made me appreciate how well the devs understand Josh specifically.
  • @lamaansyed5953
For those are wondering why Josh character is a grey pale color. It was because of an update which the devs added farming tools in the game. Josh being josh he overloaded the game with no.of tomatos, so to fix the lag. He nuked that area which ended removing this clothes and he is a walking radiation
  • @The-Urban-Goose
I absolutely love how every time resources are physical objects, Josh always finds a way to waste at least 80% of it by just leaving it somewhere, because the resources have to go through the holes.
  • @EndingSniper101
Don’t let Josh get a plumbing degree or else the world will face his wrath
  • I love how Josh treats real life sponsors like he does a video game. If those posters survived Josh's wrath they'll survive anything.
  • The salesman: I hope he doesn't know my legal name is Grace Josh: I'm smelling something
  • @Skufnut_
hey josh, I know this will likely get lost but I wanted to thank you for being one of only a few content creators that genuinely make me happy, you're the only one of them who still posts, thank you for all of the joy and chaos your videos bring
  • @Sven0waR
I absolutely adore Devs that are willing to give people like Josh and Spiff keys to their games. Knowing they will absolutely trash, destroy and abuse their games.
  • @AuxFrancais
29:59 I like how he says "that'll teach him" despite the guy has done nothing to him except his job
  • @Crow_Smith
I do adore Josh going back and forth between being his avatar in the game, and talking to him like they're two entirely different entities.
  • @Raicheru13
I'm getting Satisfactory vibes with the conveyors, but I don't think Hydroneer will ever have anything that beats the basket weave or nuclear tornado. Excellent use of gaming mechanics yet again.
  • @danielhale1
The fact that lava can't hurt Josh means Hydroneer is a just a well-disguised Purgatory. But Josh is not trapped in Purgatory with them, they're trapped in there with HIM!
  • @rhafee
Hydroneer's devs trying their hardest to improve their game. ...and then along came Josh.
  • Josh’s dedication to creating cartoon-looking scenes with comically large piles or chaotic scenes is honestly impressive.
