Whenever a game focuses more on accessibility than difficulty, you're definitely going to come across some very pathetic boss fights.

You mentioned O'Chunks from Super Paper Mario. Chapter 7's boss is also pathetic if you use Luigi. You're intended to throw the ice crystals back at it, but if Luigi super jumps under its neck, he'll get stuck on the ceiling and do endless damage until it dies. Always knew our boy in green was capable of such awesomeness.

12:40 - Fun fact: In all Bowser Jr.'s Battles on the DS (just unmasked), if you time your jump right, you can take down Bowser Jr. without touching the ground, as it takes you long enough to hit him on the vulnerable side between recovering (when Bowser Jr. appears knocked down on the ground face up) and hide in his shell (the masked one takes longer to recover, that's why you can't with this one)

It’s insane how easy Hammer Bro in Mario Party DS was, especially since the boss right before it was sheer torture if you couldn’t button mash. That Piranha Plant was a nightmare when I was younger…

Can't argue with Pom Pom/Boom Boom, Pom Pom won't even make you lose lives lol she'll just give you lives. Boom Boom is even simpler, jump on him, run away from him, jump on him, repeat.

At least Boom Boom in SMB3 actually attempted to be difficult, since later worlds had him change his tactics.

All the other weaker mini bosses throughout Mario history were total amateurs. Most powerful heroes were expecting some other bad guys would give them some real challenges in order to test the limits of their strengths, but instead, the other powerful heroes get a fight that's barely even worth a warm-up.

I'd argue that Pom Pom is even worse than Boom Boom, because you can get a lot of 1-ups by just jumping on her shell after you jump on her head.

The Pom Pom fight in 3D land, once u stomp her, u can jump on her shell, since she follows you, if you’re jumping on her shell she’ll stay in one place and you can easily stack up lives.
