Oh Kate, I love your snail! The shot of the baby one climbing up the pot to look at him was so precious ❤

I love how the snail came out and how it’s having a picnic with the pumpkin lady, very clever. To have it around an actual snail that was looking at it like it was the king of snails! That was so cute.

The Miniature World of Kit and Caboodlers is the one place for videos I truly look forward to each week. I know when I get here it will be fun, entertaining, instructional with a flavor of fantasy and whimsy! Fleur and Kate, you NEVER disappoint! This one is so very charming. I want to shrink myself down and enjoy being with a friend inside the pumpkin having a beautiful day. Thank you both, so very much! xx ❤

Ladies what a beautiful pumpkin picnic 🧺 That snail came out brilliantly, and how cute the baby snail came to make friends with it 🥹 They are adorable creatures who when picked up come out of their shells to inspect us. Not a bit frightened. Looking forward to the next one. Bye!! 😂

As long as you are making realistic snails & pumpkin picnics, now you can move on to a 🐻 teddy bear picnic.❤ Or maybe a mad hatter, rabbit & door mouse picnic?😊

I absolutely love watching and listening to the two of you interact it makes me miss my mom so. She passed 15 yrs ago and was very crafty.

You two never fail to amaze me ! Kate your sculpting is so lifelike, the shrooms, berries and apples looked good enough to eat 😋 The snail was so good it drew an inspection from a real one ! What a wonderful picnic pumpkin, I just loved watching and listening to you both giggle. Absolutely brilliant !! Hugs 🥰🥰 xx

I never thought I would see a snail as 'cute' but yours really is! You did a wonderful job. The pumpkin looks so cosy I want to move in! Lovely video Ladies x

Kate, some thoughts to keep in mind about your snail: the bottom, what he moves along on, is called the foot. So it should be wide and flat. And thins out along the edges. His big antennae are his eyes and the short ones are feelers, but you can think of them as his nose for positioning purposes. And you can use toothpicks (cocktail sticks) or pieces of wire instead of clay so they are sturdier. Just paint them to match the body. He has a tiny mouth on the underside of his head, if you watch a snail you can see them eating with their mouth. Your head shape is perfect. Also the size and length of the body are spot on. If you make 10 more, you will be an expert! And I think you should! And as you said, leave them all over the house. Or put one in or on all your houses. It can be your signature.

  • You are truly the Lady of miniature, such detail in everything. And your mum is so supportive in her help and how she envisions the work.❤

It’s like a little harvest festival in a pumpkin! It makes perfect sense to me! ❤😊

Wonderfull, so many details. I love the snail. Can't get enough of you saying the word "mushroom" Kate 😉
  • @cherylgilson8034
How adorable that a little snail climbed up to meet the snail you made. Such a cute pumpkin picnic.
  • You two just amaze me on your creations. There is nothing you can’t do! That snail is just perfection! I love it!

I love it! I can just imagine Arriety and Peagreen visiting for a teatime picnic, although Timmus would be too busy running round the pumpkin to eat anything! The snail was amazing and I'm always amazed at how you mix the colours. I'm not an artist at all though I'd love to be able to draw and paint.

I think your little snail is absolutely adorable. I love that the live snails came to check him out..

Any picnic in a pumpkin in my view, is entitled to a bit of magic. So anything is possible. This was such an adorable watch. The finished result was just so lovely. Well done indeed on making the snail kate. He looked quite cute sat on that little plant pot. Just goes to show, anything is possible, with a bit of imagination. Congratulations on achieving such good numbers on the followers you've achieved. I'm not in the slightest bit surprised. X
