  • The amount of work as a sound engineer & mixer that Mike Shinoda put in is so understated, and the fact he doesn't tout it like, at all, shows the humility of this man. Literally he made that band, he shaped & molded Chester, and was the glue of the band all along.

It's so heartwarming to see any of them together. One of the reasons I love these guys so much is because they're so humble and down to earth. They were kids when they broke out in 2000 and they're still kids now in a sense. They haven't changed a bit in how they present themselves and act and it's something to admire. Just listening to them talk and recall memories is such a warming thing. So much love for this band and Meteora
  • when Mike said "we got your back,Chester" and Chester said "i got you guys back man,f"ck em! " when outsiders want to pull Chester out of the band, that is so heartwarming. Loyalty at its highest level.

I love Chester and the influence he had was unreal. But I think acknowledging the immense effort Mike Shinoda put into making LP what they were, is a must. A lot of the fanbase loves praising Chester but forgets to give Mike his due respect. Chester was the face of LP no doubt, but none of it would exist without Mike, he was the true brains behind it all. We as fans should give him his flowers while he's here.

27:20 "I told them to go fuck themselves" 😂 - "Yesss" 😂❤ awesome (The beginning of the story 25:54

17:09 I absolutely love the way Zane breaks down the way Hybrid Theory starts. I never realized what a statement those first 20 seconds of Papercut were.
  • I have to say, this is by far the best interviewer I have ever seen. I have never seen an interviewer have such a genuine connection with artists like this, and be able to bring out the true humanity out of artists like this. He touched on vulnerable subjects without going too far, he steered the conversation naturally where they wanted it to be steered in, all the while expressing true, authentic love and interest for their music. I didn’t sense a single moment of “fakeness” from this interviewer. Absolutely phenomenal interviewing skills, 10/10. As a huge Linkin Park fan, I’ve seen countless interviews with the band, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen them this comfortable, and this open.

I will love this band forever, even if they don't continue to record new albums.

Whenever people ask if I could meet one celebrity… it’s Mike Shinoda. Dude ALWAYS seems happy, his talent is incredible, just seems like he’d be a cool guy to spend an afternoon with. Him and the gang really got me through some rough teenage years.
  • @Dakota_Grayson
My biggest regret is that I never saw them live 😢 absolutely heartbroken 💔 Love you all ❤
  • @machr01
The worst thing about this video is that it ends. I could listen to them for hours. I love their music so deeply that i cant even explain.
  • @smolmin7386
Wish Rob was there it has been long since we last saw him
  • 42:50 Brad was so focused on what Phoenix and Mike are saying he forgot he had to look at where his water was
  • @kjdskgj
Zane's ability to connect with all these different artists and always make them feel the most comfortable is just insane. The levels of empathy in this man
  • This interview was like… the therapy session I didn’t know I needed. Zane’s genuine approach felt so good. And beautiful. The more time passes, the more I’m grateful for everything Linkin Park is. ❤️
  • 44:31 I really feel what Brad is saying. After Chester died, it was really hard for me to listen to LP again, though I still listened to A Thousand Suns whenever I was traveling. It's always been my travel/flight album. Ive been listening to LP a lot lately and this 20th anniversary boxset couldn't have come at a better time. RIP Chester. Gone but not forgotten.

My brother introduced me to Linkin Park and just like Chester, he isn’t here anymore. But i will never stop enjoying this bands music because it’s the connection I have with my brother. So thank you Linkin Park for all that you are. I miss you Big Bro and we miss you Chester💔

I love "Lost" and "Fighting Myself" while I'm driving my car on the road and blasting it!! I will love this band forever!!!
  • LP is proof destiny is real and that accidents are not really accidents, good or bad they are still density
