100 Minor Irks in Splatoon 3

What's your BIGGEST minor inconvenience in Splatoon 3? 🤔💭 I am back from my extended break, so more content will be on the way in a much more timely manner! Also, as an extra: Why can't we save/create multiple Plaza posts at once? Having 2-3 to work with would be really nice!

3:58 OH, there's actually a answer to this! If I'm correct about the lore, none of the stages are, like, actual stages, as in they weren't made, in world, for competition. They are just random sites that the inklings and octolings decided to fuck around in. Everything you do in game is competely illegal!

My MAIN issue is the fact that there aren’t enough options for black people. We got afros, “dreads,” and other stuff, but I just want more.

- Why can’t I see who has ‘freshed’ my plaza posts? At least tell me how many it has - Why can’t we choose out ink colours in private battles? - Why do I have to use an amiibo to pose in photo mode?

Headgear changes color if it covers the inkling's hair as that is how you tell what team someone is on (usually, there are some weird exceptions but I think the only exceptions are ones that are on the greyish/black side). Thats why most hats change color while most glasses don't. If it didn't change color it would be super confusing! Also some gear changes color if it has a matching headgear that also changes color. The one example I can think of it the retro techno suit which changes color and has a matching hat that also changes color. Personally I wish more gear changed color haha. I like monochromatic color schemes!

My irk is that posing in camera mode is locked to having and using amiibo… it’s definitely possible to just move the camera so the amiibo is out of frame or crop it out later, but it still bugs me! And also the fact that literally posing for a photo is behind a paywall. Plus I don’t always carry my amiibo with me. On that note as well, a super minor irk is that I have to open the “set scene” menu in photo mode in order to hide the instructions… why not just make it another button… makes no sense to me!

i miss the way you used to be able to pose with amiibo in splatoon 2 like in splatoon 3 im just kinda standing with them i wanna sit at a table and look at my phone with my silly amiibo friends again 😭

My theory about the camera collision is that the camera has it's own model (which can be seen when you set a timer) and I guess they didn't want the camera model to be clipping into any terrain or NPC.

Why do we not have apartments in Splatoon 3?

My turn : 1. Why are some of the walls in humpback pump track so janky ? 2. Why do we get litterally no money food tickets without salmon run 3. Why can't i try the grizzco weapons when they are in rotation ? (or when it's golden rotation or big run) 4. Why do we still have only 3 ways to communicate during a match ? (This way, booyah and ouch) 5. Where is the new ranked mode ? 6. When will we get new haircuts ? 7. Why do we have to wait till the very end update of the whole game to get a new weapon class for stringer and splatana ? 8. Why are tricolor maps so fun and not in private battles yet ? 9. Why i haven't gotten a single golden prize at the shellout machine ? (I litterally play since releasse and i spend all my freaking money on it)

Awesome video!! Some of my minor annoyances are: 1. Why can’t we have a drink ticket and food ticket boost active at the same time? They’re two separate menus and it seems like it would make sense that you could have one of each active. 2. Why are the lower two money boosting tickets exclusive to Salmon Run and the team money boosting ticket exclusive to the Sheldon Drone and Mystery Boxes? Seriously, I only have three team money tickets and like twenty five of all the other tickets and I’m tired of getting EXP tickets in the Shellout Machine. 3. Why does the cancel button for joining a match disappear after like twenty seconds? What if I get bored and change my mind after waiting a long time or have to leave for one reason or another? 4. Why can Grillers splat you after a wave is done, and why does it seem like they go out of their way to do so? 5. Why is Clam Blitz so janky sometimes? I had a teammate throw a power clam into the basket just as it was about to close and it went in but we didn’t get any points and it cost us the match and I’m still salty about it. 6. Why do communication errors after the match is done still count as a loss for you even if you won? 7. Why is there a banner that costs 999 silver scales and one that costs 333 gold scales? There will probably be a new Splatoon game before I ever come close to getting either of those banners. I love Splatoon 3, but it definitely isn’t perfect.

I am happy that there is a weaponbased matchmaking in X. Now the chance is low that I'm getting two more backlines in addition to mine while the enemy team has an actual comb

The reason why 30% of the stages are under construction is to be an excuse on why they have 0 side routes! (Excluding Crableg and Sturgeon)

1. Some pieces of gear can’t be adjusted even though it seems perfectly plausible. And footwear can’t be adjusted AT ALL?? 2. The rainmaker is so shiny, it can be hard to see what’s in front of you when you’re carrying it… Or maybe I’m just bad at the game. 3. Splatoween music isn’t available on the jukebox now that the event is over. 4. You can’t wear a hat and glasses at the same time. Huge L for my fellow astigmatism girlies. 5. Sometimes, the advertisements that are supposed to play on the screen in the lobby just… don’t appear. 6. “Someone thinks you’re Fresh!” WHO THOUGH??? Other than that, you covered everything that I could think of. It’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one who gets bothered by these little things
