She must have really felt there was no other option. I'm so glad and grateful these nice humans recognized what she was doing and helped her.
  • Wow, she's so underweight :( No blubber on her tiny frame at all, she was lucky to get the help when she did. So lovely to know she's healthy and back in the wild :)

Sea lion: "I'm dying here, can you at LEAST put your phone down for 1 second! "

It’s a very special and uplifting experience when a wild animal puts its trust in you.

What an honor that would be...to have this special animal ask a human for help...🥰

She must of known a shark could finish her and had no options. That’s absolutely amazing to see and animal like this asking for help. Amazing…. Just amazing
  • She was so skinny!!! OMG she needed help, she obviously couldn’t hunt for herself, and how smart to know that humans wouldn’t hurt her & could help her 💜

Such a smart girl, knowing that human intervention was needed to survive. I’m so thankful you were nearby for this rescue. Thank you for taking the next steps towards getting her back to health..

Glad she found the right boat, with the right people. A little rehab and she’s ready for the ocean again. Nice save folks. 👍

Amazing to see a wild animal trusted a human enough to join them on the boat, no sign of aggression or fear

This sea pup somehow knew the humans were ok. Bless you for caring for this beautiful creature.

From what I can find, this was off Laguna Beach, California in 2014. The animal was taken to the Pacific Marine Mammal Center for treatment of a head puncture wound, dehydration & malnourishment.

She was malnourished to the point of her ribs showing when she turned her head. Bless you guys for taking her aboard and hopefully saving her life.

A story of love and kindness by humans to an animal that was brave enough and hurt to ask for help. That’s what this world should always be about. 💕
