My.first car was identical to that one except mine had the black interior. Drove it all through high school. I miss that old girl.

Mopar fan checking in; the early gen 2 F bodies were so uncluttered & elegant. This car is just lovely.

What a beautiful Firebird Formula! My first car was a 1980 Formula. I wish I still had it.

Absolutely gorgeous car!.. I would love to have that... Once upon a time I had a 1970 bird, and added the same exact Sun tachometer to the column... We all did that back then ..lol

This car is gorgeous. This is the hood Pontiac should have used for the Trans Am.

Man that's beautiful, the best looking 2nd gen.
  • Great Car, mines only a 350 esprit, green on green but 1 owner before me 27,000 miles with every original hose clip never been touched except the exhaust and a set of tires !

That's a beauty. My first car purchase was an '91 Formula 350
  • Super Sweet car. Thanks for showing. Appreciate all your cars and videos.
  • I stills can’t believe that car was sold “Brand New” Mind BLOWN 🤯 Man!
  • What people in America is failing to realize is these beautiful classic cars are being shipped in groves out the country ,Wake up one day & most will be gone overseas
  • The 1970-72 Formula Firebirds were the best. You could also get a 455 H.O. called a Formula 455. In 1973-74 if you were lucky you could get a 455 Super Duty in either a Trans Am or Formula. The yellow Formula in your video is beautiful and I love the ram air option on it as well.

Base engine 400 engine in this car, I freezed on the sheet. So 330 HP for you asking. THere would have been an option on the sheet listed if it was upgraded to RAIII or IV. Still a fantastic car...plenty of torque there. Grew up with a friend had a 71 Formula 350 3 speed, Black w white stripes, It was a dog off the line but would get up at top end 135 or so and handled and braked amazingly! Really getting very hard to find these.
