Ruby Ore was planned for Minecraft, but was abandoned due to Dinnerbone's red/green colorblindness, as well as that of others. Emerald Ore was added instead. It is unknown if Ruby Ore would have special spawning requirements like Emerald Ore does.

With the ‘blood ore’ a Minecraft developer added it for a couple of days but removed it because it was too similar to redstone so they changed it from red to green which gave us emeralds. The ore was called ruby

Fun fact: the rarest ore was the ruby, being in the game for ONE day and it looked like the old Emerald Texture but red and it was retextured to green a day later.

The red ore is actually a ruby ore, it was in the game for 1 day before getting removed and turned into emerald. It’s still in the games files. But the reason it was removed is because one of the Minecraft employees were colourblind. -info by Camman18 Edit: gee thanks for so many likes

hey ey: i just wanna let u know that the red ore is actually an emerald ore, it was a long story, notch wanted to add villager trading, so he added rubies, but jeb decided to change it to emeralds because they were easily mistakable with redstone, but right before releasing emeralds, jeb forgot to change the texture to green, making the emerald ore red

The blood sword is the only sword with the blood armor. Once you equipped the blood armor along with the blood sword, you'll awaken it's true potential on both blood armor and the blood sword. With this, you're immune to the blood sword attacking you while holding it due to the cause of your blood armor. While the blood armor will not glitch your game and will expand your armor points even higher and you'll reach the max potential of it. Your hearts will not be stolen by the blood armor. Instead of the blood armor stealing your hearts, you'll gain 50 HP to be protected by the blood sword. The blood set will be complete and give you the achievement: "Cover Me With Blood". Note that the blood sword will not be alive along with the blood armor not doing anything to you. The blood sword will deal 30 damage as usual. If enchanted with an enchantment that uses blood called "Blood Aspect", The blood sword will deal 35 damage and if slashed into a mob, bleeds a mob and starts to leech the living out of the mob while you yourself is gaining HP periodically until the mob dies. If the blood armor is enchanted with thorns, the blood armor will show amethyst-like spikes cobered in red all around the armor. If you get hit, you will not take damage, instead the damage will be deflected to the mob.
