Published 2021-01-24
And that's it! Just like that, the French pronunciation course is over! For the last reading practice, I thought it would be fun to talk about the country where I live since 2019 🙂
We are going to see :
- Les lettres muettes / Silent letters (What not to pronounce in French)
- Les liaisons / Links
- Les sons / Sounds
How to read in French can seem complicated but when you look at the details and the rules, everything makes sense! Practice your French listening skills and pronunciation rules with this lesson in less than 30 minutes.

En tant qu'une canadienne qui est née et a grandie ici, je suis heureuse que vous ayez choisi de venir vivre dans notre pays ! Merci beaucoup Dylane pour tout ce que vous faites pour nous les étudiants de cette belle langue 💕
  • @EmmaWilliams89
To learn a language properly it is necessary to know the rules of pronunciation. That somebody has put together such a comprehensive programme of lessons I suspect is rare. Although at times le professeur appeared to be having more fun than the rest of us, we should be eternally grateful. À votre santé Madame Professeur.

Un trés grand grand merci pour tout votre travail acharné. Vous êtes trés bon à cela et trés habiles, on est trés chanceux. Also thank you for the book, it is an excellent reference and reminder for future use. It has boosted my confidence hugely in pronouncing words that I have only read, but not heard before. There was so much I did not know before. Merci encore !

This class has been a huge help to me in many ways, especially for proper pronunciation, reading, comprehension AND building my confidence level when speaking aloud. The last 3 lessons pulled together all of what we have learned in this course and brought it to life. I really appreciated the last 3 lessons. So helpful with building reading skills. I've been using your short story book and loving it. I try to identify the liaisons before listening to the audio files and comparing. These Reading Practice videos have been immensely helpful in getting me started. Thank you so much for all the time you've spent building these resources.
  • @user-ch4cn8vy6t
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This has been an amazing course. I found your web site when I bought your first French Short Stories book and have been learning from you ever since. My only regret is that I didn't find it when I first started learning French because I quickly realized that I had learned so many incorrect pronunciations. The lessons flew by, probably because they were so well presented. I appreciate all that you do. Karen.
  • @arbutusca
