Twin Cities Hail Storm- Direct Hit!

I had a good case of FOMO not being in southern Minnesota storm chasing the tornado risk, but that busted and the hail storm is pretty cool. I was able to sneak in a mini chase a mile from home, in the backyard and even still coached a soccer game.
This video has it a little bit of everything. Not only the hail storm, but also some dynamic time lapse video of supercells as they road a frontal boundary to the south of the Twin Cities. I also even snuck in some astrophotography as I set up for elusive sprites, that can occur above distant thunderstorms. We have a Similar problem in Chicago. People do not know what a Garage is. They, too, have hail damage on their car

If you like thunderstorms, this is your place to live. If I had the means, I would move there from New Jersey. Today is Tuesday May 24, and right now they are saying by thus Friday we may get some heavy storms out here, but I bet that by Friday morning they'll throw in that "Scattered" bullshit.

I generally find music in nonmusical content at best annoying......so there is no way I would ever admit to enjoying the music in this video. Nope no way no how. 👍
