  • The caterpillar is the actual black man. The butterfly is the talent and the beauty, within the black man. The world deems the black man, but praises his talent and beauty. The caterpillar finds ways to using his talent and beauty, for opportunities. Even though he's being deemed by the world. The black man been going through this so long, so he separates his talents and beauty, from himself. No longer thinking that his talent and beauty is apart of himself. That the caterpillar and butterfly is one of the same. This brought tears to my eyes.
  • Tupac’s spirit was definitely in that room while Kendrick recorded this
  • Their birthdays are a day apart. June 16th and 17th.
  • Man when i heard pac on this it made me cry rip 2pac
  • Beautifully done. Pac so dearly missed, the true voice of his people. Wish he would return and continue his good work of uniting the people
  • Kendrick put the poem or the monologue together so perfectly I can’t wrap my head around how he did it and he was talking to Tupac and how his life reflects what is happening right now

It's hard to believe Tupac was so young. I've listened to Tupac since I was a child, and always looked at him as a very knowledgeable, adult figure. I'm now 35 and still listening to him I still feel that way about him. Even though he died when he was 25. I wonder if Kendrick does too. Kendrick is 36, and in this interview Tupac was probably about 24.
  • I don't know why I cry, everytime i hear this🥹😭 smh R.I.P to the G.O.A.T ❤
  • This whole album is 🔥🔥🔥. This interview make me tear up because 2Pac should be here and he would love artists like Kendrick, J cole, wale maybe, and that is about it
  • Listening to this NOW with all the riots going on makes me realize TUPAC SAID THIS WAS GONNA HAPPEN
