  • It's really sweet that his last interview is just him saying nice things about his friend

I had the honor to meet Mr. Zappa while in the Anchorage airport. I got to sit and talk with him for almost an hour about nothing. The man was a joy to speak with and I will always remember this as a highlight of my life. Rest in peace Mr. Zappa.

It’s absolutely heartwrenching seeing Frank so frail. Rest easy Frank. We miss you.

I always get teary eyed when I watch this...About the same time Mr Frank Zappa died was when I took up guitar. He is one of my idols. His music helped me a lot as a bullied loner teenager with no friends. He taught me a lot about music. RIP. Mr Zappa.

There's something triumphant about seeing the undying essence of the person shining through the mortal illness. Of course he's sick, but he's still Frank Zappa, the courage and intelligence intact, the generosity and warmth for a friend. Death be not proud. You only killed his body. You couldn't lay a hand on his mind or spirit.

I hate seeing him like this... I miss you, Frank.
  • I never met him but my father worked with him on various North America tours. My father said he was such a gentleman and kind person . I remember my dad crying when Frank passed away, which in itself was unusual as my dad hardly ever cried . Rest in peace dad and rest in peace FZ.

I was never a big fan of Franks music, but a huge fan of his talent and sharp mind. Probably a genius in many respects.

Frank Zappa said in an interview for NBC, when asked, "How would you like to be remembered?" He replied, "It's not important." I can say he is without a doubt, remembered fondly by his many fans throughout the world. A true original who is sadly missed.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Frank several times. I found him to be thoughtful & funny. A wonderful man. I miss him every day.

RIP Frank. The most underappreciated musical force in modern music.

It's a shame he went so soon , I got the pleasure of seeing him live twice , amazing guitarist .
  • It's difficult to see someone you love go from a powerhouse of creative energy to a prisoner in their own body.

Heartbreaking to watch. I can see it in his eyes. The pain. The intellect. His profound insight, knowing that he was leaving...

Words fail to describe how much this brief clip touches my heart.

The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Even in his dying days his mind and words were always on point. The world needs more Frank Zappas.

Такой красивый и харизматичный человек, как жаль что он так рано ушёл от нас... Вечная и светлая память Маэстро, ты навечно в наших сердцах!.. 💎🌹💗

Frank was a man of many musical talents. He actually produced an album for Grand Funk Railroad and did a great job behind the board. RIP, Mr. Zappa.
