Little fact most people miss is that bunker was sealed safely before turnip boy entered. The humans were fine before turnip entered. Turnip was highly irradiated and was causing plants to become sentient slowly in his presence........ That girl likely faced rapid sci-fi mutation because turnip is a stick of uranium basically......
