The Weped SS Electric Scooter is here, and it's one of the fastest electric scooters you can buy. The Weped SS is the next generation of the Weped RR, the popular and highly customized electric scooter from Korea. This is our first video on this fast electric scooter, with many more to come. The Weped SS is comporable to the Dualtron X and the Rion scooters, and we hope to do some comparison videos in the future.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out this classic LED beast. We've got scooters with even more lights here now: alienrides.com/

If a traffic crash occurred at those speeds some of your body parts will likely leave the scene of the accident and make it to your destination.

It’s all fun and games when ur going 70 mph til u go over a pothole and die 😂
  • @scottsather1041
I love it when a company actually feel some thing that goes faster than you really want to go or should go

Thanks for this great video Kevin! It is hard to find good videos on the power scooters especially Dualtrons and Wepeds. Seeing the reactions from pro scooter riders was a true testament to its power. I have always respected the Weped scooter aesthetics and build quality. I was actually thinking of getting a Weped Mini-R after seeing your review of it. I had forgotten about that little blue beauty. Once it went down to sub $2K I was strongly considering it. Unfortunately I waited too long and they were sold out at that pricepoint. I was able to see the Weped 50 and Mini-R at Minimotors when I was shopping for a Raptor 2 or Compact. After testing them all out I am glad I went with the Compact. I think it is the rarest Dualtron as no one wants the solid tires and drum brakes. Minimotors told me that no ones seems to know about the Compact and it is a sleeper. I have 40 miles now on the Compact after a week of ownership and I am glad I went that route. Once you get accustomed to the drum brakes and wide solid tires the no-flat peace of mind at 40MPH makes me smile. The Compact also completely smokes my Mantis off the line. Once you learn to brace properly for bumps and potholes and don't take hard corners you will love the Compact. It does not corner well compared to the Mantis but straight line stability is great with the wide tires and stiff suspension. The folding handlebars also let me store it in my garage just like my commuter scooters which I couldn't do with the Mantis non-folding wide handlebars. I thought I would find the drum brakes lacking but adjusted and with ABS enabled they can definitely stop the Compact with authority. I love not having discs exposed on scooters. My Mantis discs have been fine but I have had other scooters and mountain bikes get bent rotors all the time. There is nothing exposed on the Compact that can be hit to brake, bend or puncture. It is a commuter, power scooter tank :) Oh...can't wait for you to take a look at that Dualtron Mini. There is still nothing out for the Mini, Compact, or Raptor 2 that isn't in French or Russian. I need to turn on the rainbow LED mode on the Compact now after seeing the SS. I turn it to Orange to go with the San Francisco Giants colors but after seeing the SS I like that rainbow look now. It is an eye-catcher :)

Hey Kevin, it was awesome to finally meet you and the BAESK8 crew, you make the best content out there, and riding with the crew was one of my best experiences as well as test riding that beast, I would love to add that to my quiver, hopefully soon, can't wait to see the SS vs Rion vid, looking forward to the next ride ✌️
  • @yurz2ruly161
I have a scooter that goes 40mph. That is fast and very scary. Now, going 70mph?? That is a dead sentence ☠
  • @MarkLoves2Fly
Those speeds seem pretty crazy for a stand-up scooter. I Like it!
  • @mackattack8627
Another work of art simply exotic beauty with quality craftsmanship
  • @marktasico
To those who have never riding a fast electric scooter before, GoPros and fps videos don't do justice until you actually ride one. Even going like 35km/h can feel fast
  • @imamttae
the best scooter  Both design and performance are great. Good!!
  • @goodvibes6252
The people testing it out reactions are hilarious 😂
