I like that everybody has their own little group with their own dance. So much community.

I'm 55 grew up doing this stuff. Thank God it's still alive 🙏 🙂
  • Ok I'm a 57-year-old white guy from Portland Oregon. Yet I remember the golden age of Roller Skate on the west coast. When I was in my early teens I loved to go to the local skate rink, not outside of town but downtown where the real skating went down. I like the music and I liked this skating. See this takes me back and all I can do is smile. I wish there was a someplace like this out here. I'm glad I found this channel.

My mom skated in the late 70’s, the place was always packed with everyone having a great time. She made a lot of friends skating, all colors and nationalities, no one cared about any of that - just the skating and having a blast with each other.

The opening sequence with the white and black dudes is so chill.

I'm almost 60 and used to roller skate every weekend as a teen. Loved it, was good at it. Watching this is like a tug at my youth, but also I know I can still do some of this! I see some people my age representing here and it makes me want to do this now!

The duo at the beginning of this video are doing moves from the 80's. That is how guys moved on the skate floor. 1980 - 1985.

The choreographirs are ok.. but the most atractive is how everyone on the floor are in constant coordination to not hit each other, that's impressive😍
  • From a former pro skater, these men and women have definitely got some moves going. Keep it alive!
  • @JDMJOE
