I was ten years old when the Lego Movie came out. My interest in Lego was at it's peak and I was beyond hyped for it. I actually got to see it before everyone else on February 1st at it's world premiere in Los Angeles. And it was not what I expected it to be. I gave it a rewatch to commemorate it's ten year anniversary and I am so thankful that it hasn't aged but instead grown up with me.

One of the things i adore about this movie is the crossovers between a bunch of characters. It's literally how people play with Legos. I mean Gandalf and Dumbledore in a movie together? Man, i remember putting them in my Lego Batmobile 😂😂
  • I apologize for the missing clip around 13 minutes, Warner Bros. keeps flagging my video for Copyright, even though this should all fall under fair use. I deleted the "copyright" segment after a failed appeal and then they immediately flagged another section of the video, so I guess there is no winning here. Needless to say, I'm not happy at all with this nonsense, and now my video is ruined for no good reason. Thanks for that, WB!

I was 12 years old when this movie came out. I have so many memories of this movie! I saw it in theaters when it came out and ever since then, it's always been my favorite movie of all-time! It even got me into Legos.

Loved this review/ analysis! You really went in-depth into what made the movie excellent! Also the anecdotes made things all them more engaging. Can't wait to see what else you got for us.

The Lego Movie and Bionicle alongside some Lego themes from the late 2000s and early 2010s are the reasons on why i got into Lego and appreciate it as the brand

I just clocked that Will Forte plays Abe Lincoln in both Clone High (another Lord and Miller project) and the Lego Movie

14:35 Lol now that i think about it, the irony of a movie having scatter brain humor when the whole idea is about not following a toy full of instructions is hilarious
